Ro- Ta, but the house isn't a problem as such- our current house is fine, we'd just spotted a couple of buildings- an old school and a farmhouse that were going cheap as they had a couple of problems. Will stick it back up maybe in a couple of years.
Only on briefly tonight, as I'm trying to sort outmy phone- baby chewed it and now it's randomly sending old texts to people! Have already deleted anything that may be embarrassing......
Good luck with injections, they're not nice to see.... Have to be done though.
Nappies- Tesco's FB page has a comp on to win a years supply of Pampers at the moment/
Janninew- love the dog pics, my two have become wary of Rose since she's learnt to grab- a couple of pulled ears and squashed noses have elicted respect. That said, The Pillow surprised her today with a huge lick up her face- I don't think I've ever seen Rose look as shocked!:rotfl:0 -
Hello all
Thanks for the msgs earlierthink I just need to cheer up a bit and remember things could be alot worse than they are. We arent in any debt luckily so hopefully something turns up in our price range and the time will be right, my mum owns an estate agent so I suppose Ive got the best advice there.
Such a cute pic Jannine, your dog looks huge lol!!
Nappies-how funny how different all the babies are! Huggies newborns leaked for us however the other sizes have been fine. Pampers are our fave but have used lots of diff makes. Whoever said about boots...I found the ones in the yellow or green packs do come up small but the purple packs were really good. Quite like asda too.
PIL came up, LO was really tired and wouldnt go to his nanny!! He kept crying and had to come back to me, she kept saying he sounds like he has a pain....!!!!!!?! Hes tired!!! grr lol.
Mozzy, hope the family is helping more today!!
Yay to those who have holidays!! Our cruise seems ages ago and it was only a wk n half agoNutella, glad the flight was ok, I was surprised how good Aiden was on ours. Have a lovely time at your parents!!
Im scared about his jabs tomoz, nurse told me last time that its 3 on this one...boo. Poor little ones.
Poured with rain here earlier, one of our drains was blocked with little balls from when we had cavity wall insulation and it made the drive flood about 5 inches, OH had to go out with no shoes on and trousers rolled up like boxers and unblock it and sweep the water down...funniest thing ever, I took some pics obviously

Bedtime was much better tonight thank god, down in her basket at 8.30pm and straight to sleep, i'm thinking that she got over tired at the weekend as we were out and about quite a lot. She is hard work when she gets over tired!!
Good luck with the jabs tomorrow, was so glad when poppy had her last set, though she had her first 2 lots in the nicu so i've only had 1 traumatic visit to the doctors surgery.
I've found huggies to be fine, never had any leaks yet. I don't like pampers purely because they smell odd! I'm using sainsbury's eco own brand and they have been fab, the best nappy i've tried to date!
Hope all get some decent amount of sleep, i'm lucky, i won't hear from poppy until 7.00am.
Goodnight all.

I also like those naturecare or something like that...but not a fan of pampers, glad we only had one small pack of those as they weren't very good.
I find Huggies work ok for us now, long as I use a size far bigger than you'd imagine. The last pack I had were the free ones they gave away a while back, we were using size 4+ at 16lb-ish! I like the Nature Babycare best, but same size with those, it's the muscley legs! That's the joy of birth to potty washables, least they always fit
Weaning's still hit and miss here, he likes the rice, hates purees! Sometimes he'll have a bit, but still loads being wasted.0 -
Night sunshine, good luck with the jabs, it is 3 for the third set. I was expecting poppy to be a little poorly and bought calpol just in case, yet she was fine. At least thats it until the 13 month set!
Its funny everyone comments on how big harry is, yet he's my smallest lad! Its amazing how many people cross the road when they see me coming! If they did approach me i can guarantee they would just get licked to death! I can understand that they do look scary if you aren't use to dogs, they just look silly to me!
Off to get my horlicks, goodnight.x:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

My mum gave me a tip about when they have to have jabs - she said let the nurse take them in the room and you stay in the waiting room. That way, when they come out crying, you can immediately comfort them and they are pacified - because you are the one to make it all better, not the one who took them to have the nasty thing done!!
Not sure if I'll be able to manage to hand him over when the time comes but sounds like a good idea in principle0 -
Jannine, I found those eco ones ok too, and Pampers stink!
One day I must brave a nighttime washable nappy though
Oh, was it someone here who put up the link for the M&B award testing? If it was, thankyou!0 -

That wouldn't work here, they expect you to hold them down, there's only the one nurse doing them. I must book our third set sometime.0 -
turtlemoose wrote: »Thanks nutella, I think I've been punished for my nice sleep by having annoying fussy feeding all day - head butting me in his anxiousness to be fed, then only feeding for 3 minutes at a time and then snoozing for an hour then fussing again etc...argh!!!! But he did smile at me when I was talking nonsense to him earlier, so all is forgiven
Awww, one of those adorable little smiles makes sleep deprivation seem so much bearableI get the best smiles when she wakes up at 5/6am - it's almost as if she knows I feel shattered and need a pick-me-up! Hope your LO's fussy feeding didn't continue into the night.
