Morning everyone! Elliot got through his second jabs OK yesterday. He was quite grouchy round ASDA in the evening but eventually slept from 11-6 after a 2 hour feed session! Judging from the noises he is now trying to send that big feed out the other end... His hydrocele has also gone so no hospital referral, yay.

We're going to pick up a load of 6-9 months clothes this evening from an ebay seller :) I have today off so we have a trip into town planned, to find a frame for a cross stitch picture I did for MiL's birthday. Her birthday is tomorrow so I really have to get sorted today!!!!

    Morning ladies,

Just been to get Poppy weighed at baby clinic as I do every Friday morning and it struck me how nearly all the other Mums have perfect hair, make-up done, looking stylish, then there is me, hair not brushed, no make-up, with the first thing thrown on from the wardrobe! I must start making more of an effort!! (Or at least brush my hair!!) :rotfl:

Lol! I know what u mean I went to a NCT coffee group yesterday for the first time. I was 15 mins late, with damp hair, clothes that weren't ironed and looking a bit disheveled. All the other mums looked really well done, nice clothes, hair done, clean tidy clothes, but I felt better as Isabella was the youngest there being 1 month and they all said how brave I was to be leaving.the house so soon! The next youngest was 8 weeks then anywhere up to 3 years i think.

I was amazed this morning Isabella woke up at 6.45am fed for 15 mins and then slept. I decided to go back to sleep, next thing I know I wake up and its 10.45am and she's still sleeping! Hope she does it again tomorrow so dh can have a lie in, but I doubt it, sods law!

Hi Ro - Ive not deserted you for facebook.

Tried ryan on carrot yesterday - did not really take to it as only took a 1/3 of the amount so he got more baby rice which he loved. Will try again today but take baby rice with me as we will be at my mother-in-laws as the kids are having a stay over. We are off out tonight - ryan's first stay over. Better go as he is awake so get baby rice ready.

    Hello Lynn

Am on fb :D! (succumbed to persuasion !) sunshine was complaining that she was the only one not on it and to keep posting etc trying to persuade her to do a fake name and join!!!
You would be welcome on fb too if you haven't joined the group.
I am still learning who's who!

Hope LO enjoys his first stay overnight xx

We're potentially facing a hospital readmission if Erin's jaundice doesn't die down (I personally don't htink it's an issue if you look at her under proper natural light and the whites of her eyes are clear)... no way on this universe will I consent to go back onto that badly-run ward - if I have to I'll go to the other hospital in town.

Hi Dizzi, good luck with the jaundice, Sebs took around 3 weeks to go away. He looked much better in natural light, he always looked yellower when I held him as I'm so pail. My nurse assistant suggested feeling the top of his head/ fontaneal area, if it has a big dint it meant he was dehydrated, so to feed him as much as possible and not to wait for feeding times and to leave him in the window (making sure he wasn't too hot).
I think Seb had the jaundice because we were having feeding problems, once we got them sorted it got much better very quickly. Hope Erin gets better soon.
