Lovely to hear of all your preparations. It sounds like you NEED to be on maternity leave. I hope the migraines calm down and you can enjoy yourself over the next few weeks.

    Seconded :D.

Hi Toots, where have you been?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Ooh - hope you can calm down on things now and the migraines ease up :(

I never bought any bf tops (bras, yes :)) and fed all 4 happily out and about - just loose tops or shirts over vests/ tshirts worked well

    You'll soon be in the £160s :D:D

Thanks everyone for posting, and the good wishes for my health - I hope the health fairy is listening to you all ;). I had an ok day on Saturday, but yesterday was another write off :(.

Toots, it is especially good to hear from you after so long, glad you are still reading and hope you keep popping in. I definitely need to be on mat leave! Has been a bit of a shock for me how hard I am finding things at the minute, as with DD I worked up until 2 days before I gave birth with no problem at all. But I am 10 years older now (as everyone helpfully points out!) and each pregnancy is different. Hope your MF journey is going well.

ebay sales finished - 3 unsold which will relist, but 1 sold for £51 :D +P&P which am VERY happy with. Bought a bundle of nearly 100 unisex baby clothes as well for £11, collected this morning. Mostly 3 months+ - we don't have anything in that size so far.

The vests are already a hit as am layering them under the tops which normally flash my belly! For a short person, I think I have a suspiciously long torso!

If feel ok this week, would like to pack hospital bag  (OH got me a freebie), and write birth plan.

I know exactly what you mean about it being a shock when you find a pregnancy so difficult. DS1 I found fairly hard work but DS2 knocked me over completely. I know it sounds daft but I spent quite a bit of it feel cheated and a little bit angry. I'd done everything I could do for myself in terms of getting healthy and looking after myself so I was floored by what a struggle I found it. I'm also afraid to say that I think there is a breed of woman who breezes through pregnancy and just thinks that anyone who doesn't is putting it on, or maybe that was just some of my former colleagues.

If it helps, Jerry Hall went to bed at 8 months with all of her pregnancies and didn't get up again until the baby was 6 weeks old. (Oh, to have an army of staff waiting on you hand and foot :rotfl:). Pregnancy can be really really hard work so take good care of yourself xxx

That's exactly how I feel Courgette, I had been looking forward so much to number 2 that I thought it would be perfect - especially as I had been getting fit, eating well and had a good exercise habit. I am not really enjoying this at all, which makes me sounds like a selfish person, and ungrateful - which I am not, believe me, I am so glad that the baby is healthy. I just don't think I could go through another pregnancy after this :(.

Does anyone know where I can get a free changing mat? Sure one of the freebies give it out, and need it to go with my lovely changing bag.

Another day off work :(, think need a fit note now too off the doctors.

Please remind me to never buy second hand clothes off ebay. My waterfall cardigan came today. It is ok on, but smells a bit of smoke (I am really sensitive to these things), and looked like it had been washed not great. That is me being a little particular I think, as even though I buy second hand I make sure they are in excellent condition. I am going to stick to charity shops from now on, at least I can see the items first. Saying that the cardigan is really warm (lambswool), fits me now, and will be great as a cover up for breastfeeding. But that is definitely it for clothes from fleabay.

Hi hope you don't mind me jumping in . . . been lurking for a few weeks (and enjoying very much!!) :D

After a rough pregnancy inc migraines last year I was rewarded with my dd. It all seems like a distant memory now and was definitely worth it - I'm sure it'll be the same for you when you see your lo for the first time!!

I don't know about any free change mats but I got a couple from Poundland - they're really cute with different animals on them and good quality :j

Good luck with the final hurdle of your pregnancy! I am looking forward to reading your future posts as I head back to work :(

Please do jump in! It is lovely to hear from lurkers, reminds me that people do read my diary!

I am trying to keep my chin up and eyes on the prize... only 6 and a bit weeks til due date :j! Its just the migraines are not pregnancy related, so am worried about still being dizzy and having double vision with a newborn. Currently trying to get an urgent appointment at 2 different migraine clinics to see what can take during pregnancy, it is SOOOO frustrating! Have 5th migraine in 7 days today :(. I do daydream about the baby being here to try and cheer myself up.

Top tip on the poundland baby changing mats, will pick a couple up next time I feel up for a shopping trip. I've also got primark bikini bags on the list, they are meant to be good as a nappy wet bag and only £1.50 ;).

Hope return to work is not as  as you're thinking. Are you going back FT or reduced hours?
