    Hi everyone

Still not been to Boots :( -will there be anything left on Saturday, I wonder?
    One Out
L’occitane Bergamot Tea Solid Perfume 10ml - lost it's smell and was past it's expiry date WNBA - I like them but just prefer spray perfumes. The bergamot had a lovely citrus aroma though. Really chuffed I didn't buy anything in the L'occitane sale online and the sale is over now so no more temptation -phew!

WSS, thats disgusting! If they work with you I hope they got the sack!

I know, its awful. Security asked me if I wanted to take it further but I said no because I didnt want to make a fuss and also I thought some of the balme would come back to me. (Hate work and I am just trying to keep my head below the parapet. Boss doesn't support me and being bullied big style from my line manager's line manager, its been going on for a couple of years and isn't getting better:cry: HR are no help as they think he's the golden boy) But now I think I should have taken it further, its awful to think we work with thieves.

  • I have an IN from the Boots sale to confess :o It's a Fearne Cotton body wash and body lotion kit, which I'm ashamed to admit was totally an impulse purchase in a 'what happens if they don't bring it back?' way...

I live in a very small town with an approriately sized Boots, so nothing to tempt me in the 75% off sale.
UU 2 oz size Clinique Body wash, it was a GWP, very nice and economical, but probably WNBA.
IN Leighton Denny Brilliance Serum and tester Lancombe Teint Idole Ultra Foundation. Will be lovely for weekend bag, if it works for me I will try it when my spluttering Clinique runs out.

2 uu serum I was testing for boots WNBa as perfume too strong
also BS cranberry shimmer body butter WNBA for same reason but did like the shimmer effect tho guess it is only done in winter type perfumes

Rosemary they do a coconut shimmer body butter too, which I love for the shimmer. I think it's a constant range as I bought it last April/May (or whenever it was they had the glitch with the three free gifts!!)
No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

I'm a little late to this as usual!

I was BAAAAAD over Christmas and treated myself to too much nice stuff (especially in the Boots 50% sale and BS sales) I was trying to avoid the BOOTS 75% sale but succumbed yesterday at approximately midday and rushed off to my local store to check it out. I only spent £16 yesterday and got some nice gifts for my families birthdays in April, but now I am feeling really guilty about it, and I just have a problem with space now, its getting totally ridiculous and I admit I have a problem. Whenever I'm feeling down I treat myself, which gives me a buzz for a short while but then i get cross with myself. Imagine having to try and explain a toiletries obsession to a psychologist!! I'm not getting into debt to buy them but it is totally irrational and I could be saving the money.

I have absolutely come to the conclusion that toiletries is my weak spot; I dont drink or smoke but the buzz I get from buying some nice product (especially at a "bargain" price!) is just the same for me as gambling or smoking. How bad is that?? I suppose at least they are useful...if you ever get around to using them up!

Anyhow, now that the sales are over I am determined not to buy ANYTHING for the rest of the year. The only thing I will allow myself is toothpaste, as I have enough deodorant to last until 2013 and soaps, shower gels, shampoos to last way beyond that!

Ditto!! I could have written this :o (Except my spend in the 75% off sale was slightly higher... :o - will declare later).

Oh hun, I'm sorry to hear this :( I think you should report it to HR that this person stole stuff, what if it happens again to somebody else with something of higher value?

if it goes to the police, you don't take it further, the cops do so work cant say anything about it. by that point, all thats happened was a crime was reported and the police have decided they can change someone.

if they get away scott free this time, its sending the message to try again because all that will happen is they have to give the stuff back.
