    Ooooooh ladies...I'm back from the Boots sale. And so is half the shop! :rotfl:

    It's all presents (apart from the much-needed new electric toothbrush. Woo hoo! :j :rotfl:) But I picked up some bits for my best friend, who is away for a few days, and some of it is definitely going back when we've had a sort-through of what she does/doesn't want.

    My mum nearly piddled herself at me up and out and raring to go this morning at a ludicrous hour. It was worth it! ;)

  • I'm wondering if I should chuck out my Clarins Beauty Flash Balm - it feels wasteful even considering it because there's quite a bit left in the tube and it is a good product (as well as not being cheap!) but I've noticed it's going a bit weird when I put my foundation over the top. Things like this would be so much easier if these products came in pots...

    Boots at 7am tomorrow :eek: just need to stick to my list and not buy anything that isn't needed :D

    I'm pleased to announce ..... (drum roll please) ........ I stuck to my list (more or less) and I managed to buy nothing for myself :j :j I did buy a few 'extra' small pressies (£2 sanctuary sets and £1 Royal Jelly Body Butter sets) but DD and OH are always needing something for someone so I shouldn't be tempted by them :p Very pleased with my morning. :D

    I was also thinking about putting together gift sets for the girls friends birthdays with a few Lush things in. Does that sound really mean?

    No - not mean at all - very sensible idea - money saving and stash reducing. :T

    Just a quick heads up folks - should you be tempted by the BS chocolicious email (I won't - chocolate stuff never smells 'right' IYKWIM?) and then wander into the sale bits ..... don't!! The sale stuff is more expensive than instore :eek: (ie: handcream £3 online - only £2 instore). So close that basket and walk away :D:D

    Hi everyone, couple more UU to report:

    Lush Hair Doctor - Been having some scalp issues at the moment with my hair falling out and my scalp being really sensitive. I've used this before and found that it really helps.

    Avene Hydrance Legere Lotion - WBA, I think it helps in the winter months, although now it's got colder again, I could have done with it lasting a little longer hehe
    Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £
    LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000
    Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 2017
  • I popped into the Boots sale and only got a couple of INs that I need to declare! Umberto Giannini shampoo, conditioner and hair treatment. All miniatures, and I needed some for my travel bag anyway :)

    Hi everyone
    I haven't been to the Boots 75% off sale :( and yet I have been the past 3 years or so but have generally bought less and less each sale. I think my store does not stock the ranges I like and I know if I go in tomorrow all that will be left is tat. Just couldn't get myself motivated this morning to get the bus in to town. I'm either sickening for something or my toiletries addiction is cured!
    I did go and exchange my mascara at the weekend (no appointment needed just a straight swap). I only had one other mascara though and the Clinque one will go in my handbag. Other than that, still a no spend month!
  • went into boots 75%. they'd been literally completely stripped bare of everything. came away with the Gu crackers that have 12 posh choccies in for £1.62 :)
  • Hi everyone! I did make it to the Boots sale at 10am (I was way too late). Everything I wanted was gone, tons of sanctuary sets left however at the Boots in Ipswich. I didn't buy anything for myself from the 75% off sale, just one item to give to my mother in law.

    But I have INS to report. In my defense, I bought them because I ran out of moisturiser eck!!!

    No 7 Essential Moisture Day Fluid (used my £5 off voucher = £5)
    4x Lancome Genifique samples that my Lancome SA gave me when I stopped by to talk to her
    and I got a bunch of items on the clearance shelf at Debenhams for only £6.50:
    Benefit - Dr. Feelgood
    Elemis - Pro-collagen marine cream
    Burt's Bee day cream
    L'occitane hand cream
    Natio ageless primer
    Dead Sea spa magik delicate boosting mask
    Dead sea spa magick rich moisturiser

    On the flip side, I have a bunch of splutters too!
