Happy New Year to you all.

Can I come back and join 'the gang' please? !!

I was 'away' for the last few months of 2011 due to multiple family issues - but I'm sorted and ready to face my stash of lotions and potions head on.

TBH, I think you all did pretty good at 'sorting me out' in the few months I was on here last year.

It seems for the first time in 5 years I have not been invited to QVC's customer beauty event day. Don't get me wrong - I did love going to these days, meeting presenters and guests, getiin my hair/nails/face doen and getting 'freebies'.

However, I did wonder just how much you had to spend in order to get the invite in the first place - turns out, quite a lot!!!:eek:

For every UU I have £1 will be going into my 'Vegas pot'. I have continued to do this even when not posting. Hope to have quite a bit in there by Sept.

So, I'm on it - lets go girls!!!!!

Had my first UU of the year! Just a sachet of bath salts by Thai Spa (a Superdrug brand? Not sure where they came from but my mam thinks they're mine!). WNBA - they didn't do anything. What are bath salts actually for? They dissolved to be invisible and didn't smell of anything.

Me too. But in my defence, everything I buy in the Boots sale goes on presents for other people, and saves me an absolute fortune during the year. I have a couple of TBS body scrubs and body butter I might try giving away this year, though, as well.

Books are my true Achilles heel, but I've got much better and my 'Amazon reflex' as I call it has practically died: now I use my local library's online search engine, then try to buy it second hand on GreenMetropolis or Ebay etc. unless it's something I really need or one of my 2 favourite authors, who get a free pass in the challenge as life without their books is not even worth considering.

I'm getting there. Slowly. Oh so achingly slowly. But one day my room will be decluttered and lovely! :rotfl:

I'd love to join in again - I went missing towards the end of last year, although I was still very good

My stash list is on my other computer so I will update and post it tomorrow - should also be able to report back on last years stats. I will confess to have stocked up on lots of gift sets in the John Lewis Christmas sale, and to have got a few body butters in the BS deals/glitches but I've otherwise been quite controlled and reasonable!

Look forward to another year of paring down the stash!

I have my first UU of the year!

Lush Lil Pud (I think thats what it's called? from the 'secret santa' gift set) bath bomb. WNBA it didn't smell of anything in particular, turned the bathwater the most vile colour (a murky brown) and done nothing for my skin. If it hadn't been in the 50% sale in a gift set i'd feel ripped off It is cute though
