These are lovely and ideal for young girls. My daughter Emma is 13 and wears the Angel one. Don't know if they still have this particular fragrance as it was a couple of years ago that I got it for her.I bet she'd love them... they're cheap, gorgeous packaging and lovely scents.
Thanks both - I have seen them on Fragrance Direct and you can get money back through Quidco from them. I will shop around just to check they are a good price before buying though.also as I have decided NOT TO BUY TODAYS TSV - as I clearly DO NOT NEED IT, I have addded an dadditional £5 to my savings pot. I feel very chuffed about that too!!
Well done you :T- I am afraid I am half way to the naughty step and I must type quickly to confess but I did the Elemis TSV - I realised that I was running low on toner and I love the oxygenating night cream so thought it was worth the money - I went for the hydrating set (being old enough to have a 10 year old LOL). I did say when I joined the thread I would not do more than one tsv a month so that is now it - I will avoid watching on Beauty Day and willnot buy anything else this month.
BUT (and this is why I thought I could redeem myself from the naughty step) -I went in Boots for a new deodorant (these I have under control and don't have on my spreadsheet as I only buy a new one when I have opened my last one) and I saw the FCUK bags - I picked one up, I posed with the bag, I looked inside, I smelt the shower gel, I thought what an amazing price - £45 to £11.25 and then.......... I put it back on the shelf and walked away...:jHave spend the morning trying to track down a fcuk bag, none is any of the 6 Boots I called
Sorry Asset2004 - Stevenage retail park if that helps you!
And finally - a UU - a Bare Escentuals lip gloss - WIBA - probably not, didn't have much staying power and I have enough lipsticks and glosses to last me til I'm 100.
Sorry for the long post.0 -

Hi,
Can I join this challenge please?
Had a sort out of toiletries in October 2011 and got rid of some/donated to meeting my mum goes to for raffle pressies. Still have loads more to use, which are now in a double cupboard rather than the large cardboard box.
I have started a sealed tin so each full size toiletry I use up and don't buy replacement I add £1, small size 50p, and sachets/freebies in mags 10p. I got this from reading one of this challenges last year, so thought would help in saving for a possible spa weekend with my sister and at the same time reduce the amount of toiletries I have.
great idea, thanks!Goals for 2012: finish course; get job; new pet; ring; house; car; holiday; learn to knit; size 10; finish '50 books to read before July 18': 17/50 ; savings account: £2450.68/£6000; improve my French and German.... how many can I achieve?!No buying unnecessary toiletries 2012. UU: 8/160
SPC 2012 1648: £20.47p/?£1000 -
Sorted through some toiletries.
I have LOADS of moisturisers and numerous handwashes. Don't get me started on all the handcreams...
WHY?
Oh my. I haven't even looked at the bathroom stuff yet (but I do know there are several bottles of conditioner in there...)0 -
Evilsquid, your a star!
I'd love to know what you use and what rate/hate. Did you say you blog?0 -
Hi salesaddict, I remember you from before. Do you still detour through M&S every morning or have you changed jobs?
Hi Kaz,
how funny, in one way, but shameful in another
Yes still battling the same old demons.
Still on first name terms with all the M&S staff.
With the New Year, and a few things that have changed in my life, I am really going to try to change for the better.
Hope everything is going well for you x0 -
Hello my lovely - was only thinking about you the other day, hope you are ok??
just one thing though - there HAS to be some stories if you keep toiletries in your kitchen cupboards.... c'mon lady - tell all !! :rotfl:
Oh Trudij, you've know idea. I just went from bad to worse.:o
I've got hand scrubs, hand creams and aromatherapy oils in the kitchen:eek: But that's just normal right?
Lovely to be able to have the space and time to join in again.
I am going to succeed if it kills me.
Hope all is going well with you x0 -

thank you!
yes i do. I've a backlog of posts that i need to get around to putting up though. http://elegantenvironmentalist.blogspot.com/
i really like liz earle, elemis, bobbi brown, bare minerals, laura mercier and mac.
there are some really good natural products and ranges out there but some of them are a bit naff and overpriced.
I've got some REN in my stash and I'm looking forward to trying that. its quite expensive, especially for the skincare so i've been reluctant to pay so much for just taking a chance on something.
the only option I've found from boots that doesn't use SLS/SLES is the Good Works range. their shower gel smells gorgeous. worst foaming I've ever had from an SLS free shower gel though.
origins and lush are good but they do use SLS/SLES in some products so i have to be vigilant with them. origins are the best greener eye creams you'll find although they do come with a price tag to match.
i've tried some natural make up but it is still a bit lacking. bare minerals are the only ones who have really got it down with a whole range. the neals yard remedies organic eyeliner just doesn't give the same black you get from a normal one. its ok for daytime/natural looks but if you want blackest black you'll be sorely disappointed. you get more of a dark grey and you have to work it in more than conventional eyeliners. most of the mascaras are also still a bit rubbish although the bare minerals one is my HG. its amazing.
also, a lot of the high street stuff in boots that says "mineral" on it isn't all minerals. there is no legal definition of mineral (or green, natural, "contains 95% natural ingredients" or "contains 95% organic ingredients" unless thats followed by some seal of organic certification from e.g. the soil association or ecocert) so if you compare the ingredients list for bare minerals it will just be some minerals and colours, the "mineral" from boots is just the normal eyeshadow in a different box. all "powders" usually have some mineral constituent somewhere so they aren't technically lying by saying its a mineral eyeshadow. they just realised we'll pay more for an extra word on a box.
i haven't yet seen a good natural under eye concealer. I'm using the bobbi brown corrector/concealer and benefit erase paste. a powder alone just won't do the job those two do.
with stuff i hate, i really don't like clinique. i used to use their 3 step skincare and the toner just wrecked my face. there is far too much alcohol in it and it took ages for it to settle down again. I've had some of the make up and been underwhelmed with all of that too.
I'm not impressed with keihls either. they promote all the plant extracts in their products and make it seem like it is all natural but they use SLS/SLES and petrolatum. typical case of owned by bigger company, use same base formulas. they are also owned by l'oreal who actively still animal test as are lancome so I've never shopped there. once my keihls set i got in america because i wanted to see what all the fuss was about is used up, they are getting a wide berth.0 -
Ahhh you see evilsquid1603
I find that the clinique range is the only face care range that will quieten down my very blemish prone face and reduce redness.
just thought id put my tupance inHELP !!!!
