CompletelyLost -ACM - advantage card machine, if it's in ref to a comment on b***s !
    If not - no idea:rotfl::rotfl:

Evilsquid - I have a week off work coming up and intend to go thro my (several) makeup boxes. I know I have a tonne of lipsticks in there that I cannot remember the last time I wore. I'm a gloss girl now, and I got three for xmas, bought two while on holiday last yr - so no need to buying those right now.

To people looking at organising makeup - the only things you have to worry about 'going off' are cream/gel products. For example cream blush, gel eyeliner, lipstick, lipgloss etc. Powder products don't go off exactly. You can always sanitize pressed powder products with a spray of alcohol.

For those of you with a large makeup collection (like myself) I put together an everyday kit. In a basket I have my everyday foundation, 1 powder, 1 concealer, 1 blush, 1 bronzer, 4 neutral e/s (plus matte black and shimmery highlight colour), 1 lipstick, 1 lipgloss and that's about it. I find that I use things up a lot quicker that way. An eyeshadow that never had any signs of use in it a month ago, looks well used now!

Of course I still dip into the rest of the stash from time to time for a bit of green or purple eye shadow here and there but I find that regular use is making things go a lot quicker!

I've binned my brow gel. had it a while and it looks a bit gunky. I've saved the old dior palettes for now but I'm going to add them to the pile of stuff i use everyday and avoid the cream eyeliner pan.

the oldest few eyeliners I've got I've given a good sharpen and I'm going to make an effort to get them used up this month.

im GA a bronzer and a navy eyeliner. i don't wear bronzer, i have pale skin so it looks muddy on me and i think the navy eyeliner was a freebie from in style.

other than that, I've rejigged my make up bags for handbag and gym. i was carrying a ridiculous amount around with me so I've pared the handbag collection down and moved the stuff i'd only use at the gym anyway into my gym bag.

drooling at all the stash lists:drool:

evilsquid-I had to look at the palette and I have to say it is gorgeous! But I'm sure it would bring you much more joy actually wearing it as you would get to see it when you used it, and look beautiful:D I'm thinking of investing in a dior palette (but to actually use!) and never buying an eyeshadow again:rotfl:

  • These are what I spoilt myself to this morning. Thanks Lush! I've spent the day on the naughty step and now feel justified in being proud of my purchases! After all, they were reduced.... Hope they arrive soon.

:( I am gutted the fcuk bags are down to 75% off and the worst thing was I went into Boots for a walk about, saw there were loads of fcuk bags but the 50% sale was still on and didn't check if they'd been reduced :(
I was going to spend my points, got about £50 and I'm back to town till Monday and I know they'll be gone by then.
I know I have loads of toiletries (and bags) :o but that's not the point. Stamps feet and sulks.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time

i know. it looks really nice on too when i use it. the colours go with each other perfectly and the black has just a really nice subtle hint of glitter in it too.

the dior ones with a base, 3 shadows and a liner are gorgeous. they are really pigmented. I've got the grey and the brown one. they were my presents for passing my first degree (i have another degree now so that shows how old they are :rotfl:)

  • The FCUK bags were talking to me all day in work, pleased to say I managed to leave the shop without buying one though! Really trying not to buy stuff i dont need, i could buy that and claim it would be a gift... but reality is i dont have any idea who I would give it to yet lol.

Starting to get irritated at my current toothpaste! Its in a pump and it just will not die!!!! I squish it hard every time I use it and it's still going!

Btw, where do we stand on using "more" of a product to use it up quicker? e.g. ive found I really want rid of my body wash from last years FCUK bag I bought in the sale.... same with the spray. I know it's more MSE to use it normally... but does this thread let me away with it lol or should i behave?
