I saw that as well really felt for her. My experience wasn't quite as bad, though was in labour for hours, about 19 from 4cm ut was in pain from the day before. I had every drug going including epidural and ended up with a emcs due to failure to progress after 9cm grr. Kind of glad I didn't go through the pushing bit though. I would seriously consider a c section next time but not sure if they will offer as they said i should be able to deliver naturally.

OH's sister had her 3rd baby wednesday and ended up with her second emergency c section, kind of made me think i'd rather not go through all the pain to have that happen again.

Anyway I can't wait till we have our second lol.

Your poor LO having a cough for so long :( Do you have a walk in centre near you? Alot of people i know go to our walk in centre if there doctors dont listen or help them. And they seem to do a much better job than the doctors surgery!

The birth of your second LO sounds much better! I know our first experiences were rough but it dont put us off wanting another LO! I'd love to think my second if we are lucky enough to fall again when the time is right would be nice and simple like your second but i seem to have bad luck with pregnancies and birth lol. I'd love to experience a natural birth and have that bond straight away. And not get looked down at by other horrible mums that think less of me that i had a emergnancy C-sec..even though i went through all the pain and pushing!

Well done on your FB sales, yes that is true saving money and time on not having to send the items. And the hassle!

    x

We do have a walk in centre, but I haven't had much luck with them either, lol. Am going to leave him over the weekend to see if it gets any worse again and if it does I'm going to take him to the walk in part of our local hospital (as he has been coughing a lot more these last couple of days). It isn't stopping him from doing things, he still plays happily and has a good appetite, but I just hate hearing him coughing and wheezing :( In the 8 years my daughter has been alive, she has never been as bad as he has these last few months.

How can mum's look down on you for having a section! That is awful, as long as our babies are brought safely into the world, it doesn't matter how it happened. I think its wonderful that you would want to go for a natural delivery after what you went through.

The FB selling gets a little addictive, lol. I have made £18 so far today and I should have someone coming round this afternoon. Just listed a few more bits on there. I need to get cleaning though whilst LO is asleep. xxx

Wendz- I had all drugs too morphine shots at first, pethadine (which i said over and over i didnt want), Gas & air and then epi!! I failed to progress after 6cm...to which they then stuck some sort of drip in me that was meant to speed things up. I wish i could of had your midwifes and they just give me C-sec after i didnt progress! :( Have you spoke to your OH about when you would like another?

Olivia- Exactly if it wasnt for C-sec Owen would of been stuck and we would of probably both died!
I might have to go onto the FB sales page tonight and put the spin pram on there. Glad your doing well on your sales!

I went for a walk with owen earlier and popped into the Co-op to see if they had anything reduced...lol. And i looked on the notice board and there was a Thomas ready made bed on there VGC £10! I couldnt believe it as ive been looking at the exact one for a few weeks now and there £40. I phoned up and am picking it up at 7.30pm tonight its just round the corner too. Hopefully it is in VGC like advertised

Ive decided im going to set some targets and put in my siggy to keep me trying hard at saving.

So first off i will put how much money in vouchers i get for the year as i do get lot in vouchers. Ive had my first of the year a £10 Argos gift card. Which i plan on buying a curtain rail with so i can put up our thermal door curtain over the front door. the door is glass at the top and has a long glass window down the side of the door too. I hate it at night as everyone can see in when the light is on. And the curtain will also keep the draft out :D

I am glad the midwives made the decision they did . I don't think thy had seen anyone so keen for a c section before.

We were originally going to try oct time but now we want to get married next year prob won't be after .

That is great about the Thomas bed hope it's in good condition !

Good idea about the signature , think it helps motivate you .

I can understand waiting until after the wedding, loads of people do it but a wedding and baby in the same year must be so stressful!

I picked the bed up, she pointed out a couple of bits wrong just the zip head was missing and a little rip where you blow it up on the back which she hadnt noticed until she got it out of the loft today. But for a tenner i wasnt going to complain. She said it was up for £18 before christmas so im happy with that.
I got it home and Owen was still up and jumped straight onto it kissing the pictures of thomas lol. So i reckon it got his seal of approval!

Yeah i agree keeping a track in siggy deffo helps to motivate me. i will be keeping a track of grocery spends but i will wait until 1st feb for that.

    Morning,

I done a nappy cream trial this week and have just completed the survey and they should now be sending a £3 Boots voucher. Not much but it will help as i have run out of dry shampoo. And well since having Owen i cant live without the stuff! :rotfl:

My OH's mum is picking Owen up at 9am this morning to take back to there house as my Oh's brother is there and his only seen him once when he was a few weeks old. TBH i would of preferred them coming here to see him as Owen doesnt know him and gets a bit teary with some adults he doesnt know. But the MIL wants to take him there, its only until 11am and at least that will give me some 'me' time which i never get in the daytime.

I was thinking of taking Owen to the farm this afternoon as its half price entry but its freezing and ive not even been outside!

Yesterday afternoon my mum came round so i could quickly pull up and cut down some dead plants in the front garden. Looks so much better now! But i didnt quite finish it all, was going to finish it off today but not if it stays this cold and icey.

Keeping track of your vouchers is a good idea, I used to do loads of surveys but don't so nearly as many now as I never seem to have the time (and I hate the long repetitive ones). It's freezing! Car said it was -5 this morning!

Im the same! Most have given up on me and dont send them to me anymore. I even had an email from pinecone saying my name is on the list to be taken off there survey books if i dont do any surveys they send in the next week! Pinecone pays the best money and surveys are alright to do so im hoping they send me some as i dont want to be kicked off!

    -5!!! Brrrrrrrrr
