Well Owen got on fine round my OH's parents so the MIL says. We're now at my parents house as my OH is working until 4pm today and i was very bored at home! Now ive come here Owen is asleep in buggy. Its so cold out after 15 mins of walking my ears were hurting so much and my eyes were watering, so i thought na i dont think we will go to the farm today!
The MIL forgot to bring from my OH's parcels which is very anoyying as our washing machine seal we ordered must have been delivered to there house by now! i think we have now been without a washing machine for near 3 months!! They live about 13 miles away so my OH will either have to do a trip there on his way home from work or 2moz. As i really want to see if we can try fit it and have it woring by 2moz.
I really need to pop to a supermarket to stock up on milk, bread, crisps and chips. But i feel so unmotivated..i blame it on the cold weather!
Ive posted a few bits onto fb sales this morning. Its good it doesnt cost anything etc, cash in hand, but it does mean people coming to house which i dont really like. So i think i will just post big items on there and save the little ones for ebay still.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Hopefully you will sell some bits
. Do the pinecone surveys, those ones are worth it. I've only not done a few in the time I've been with them, and the format repeats every time so I know how much I have left to do. Any cash from surveys goes in my savings so I don't waste it on rubbish! Glad Owen got on OK today.
Hope the facebook sales go ok. I am a bit funny about people coming round too which makes me not sure about it but like you say is easier for the big bits.
I was doing well on surveys end of last year as i kept a tab in my signature and tried to do a certain amount each week.0 -
Afternoon all,
Well been food shopping this morning i got there for when the shop opened hoping to in and out quickly. I spent £29 i stupidly forgot to hand over £4.50 worth of coupons, i had put them in my purse before i left this morning espically for the shop aswell.:o
I must must sort out my freezer! In fact im going to write down what ive got in there so i know what im low on or have loads of as i can never remember.
Then i went to Argos and bought a curtain pole for over the front door to keep the draught out and to stop people from being able to see in at night. I bought it with my Argos voucher so nothing paid.:D Im sure we only put the curtain up in the loft last week, and we dont have a ladder so cant get it down now. I will have to borrow my parenst loft ladder.
Owen has been sleeping well, his been waking up early hours like this morning 2am but he was back asleep within 10 mins. We got up at 6.30 this morning..which is a lie in for us!
The washing machine seal still hasnt arrived!!! They dispatched on tuesday! GRRRRRRR. We need it asap. So OH is going online to check delievery times.
***Cat lovers dont read***
Im having a nightmare with cats atm theres about 4 that live down the road opposite and they use our garden front and back as there toilet and its really peeing me off!!! The scrap all the soil up over my heathers that i planted in the other month and scrap them up. They also !!!! right infront of our front door near enough in a pot we have out the front like its there throne or something. Im seriously thinking of bagging there poo up and giving it to there owners..i mean dont they have litter trays in there house. i thought if they had litter trays they only go in them??...im not a cat person at all. I dont want Owen playing in the garden picking up cat poo's and touching grass they have wee'd on.
Oh i also bought a tank of petrol too today £48! Just off to input on shopandscan petrol info

How annoying forgetting the vouchers!
Yay for Owen sleeping better, hope it continues. Think Poppy might be teething again, got the rosy cheeks, drool and only napped for 30 mins today.
You are doing great with the vouchers.0 -
Wendz- Poor Poppy i hope it doesnt cause her too much grief coming through, what do you use to help the pain?? I swore by A&P's powders when owen was much 5 months but its magical powers wore off by the time he was 8 months and we now use cal gel and calpol before bed.
This afternoon the lil man wasnt himself wanting cuddles on the sofa instead of playing with toys and running riot! He can never normally sit still for longer than 10 mins at most. He went off to sleep fine, although ive put himin a new sleepbag as the old one was getting a bit small. But this new one seems to be narrower i hope it doesnt restrict him too much and wake him up as he rolls around alot at night.
Im just round my parents atm as mum is dying my roots for me, i bought the hair dye before christmas to do for christmas but i never got round to it! So my roots really needed doing badly! I need a haircut badly too, it hasnt been cut since owen was 6 months!!!!...his now 14 months!!! So as you can imagine its quite dry and damaged on the ends and in need of a good tidy up!! I just cant afford it right now though

Morning,
Its another cold day today!!
The lil monkey is asleep, so really i should be tidying up batch cooking etc but everytime the first thing i do is come on here!:o Bad habit when the house really is a huge mess.
Ive been reading on the grocery challenge thread and have decided to copy there idea of having a seperate purse for the monthly grocery money. Im sure i have an old purse somewhere at my parents house. Each month i will take out the £140 in cash and put into the purse and then only spend what is in there on grocerys throughout the month.
Pay day today so i best be off and check my accounts and then crack on with a bit of cleaning i suppose.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
I usually only give her calgel, have heard good things about the ashton and parsons powder. I can see the tooth under the gum so hopefully won't be long.
Hope Owen was ok after his quiet afternoon. Is he enjoying his new bed?
I know what you mean about the hair, I have only had mine cut once since having Poppy. Going to book an appointment though as have a ten pound off voucher and OH said he will pay.
The grocery challenge sounds like a good idea.I think we spend at least £200 a month, I am sure we could do much better.0 -

Fingers crossed it will pop through very soon then, how many teeth does she have now?
I cant see Owens under the gum yet but this is his 7th coming so its hard to see now and if i try to feel he bites me!
Aww thats good of your OH...wish mine was more like that.
I also spent around £200 a month normally its ranged from £40-£55 a week. But we were a junk food family but now im really making the effort to cook good meals from scratch espically now im having to cook proper meals for Owen now.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35!
