    Morning,

How cold is it out there!!!! I just took Owen out for his usual walk about in the buggy and when i got home i couldnt feel my face or ears and now ive got a headache! I really need to invest in a hat , im sure a have a few still at my parenst house somewhere. I dont care if i look a wally i want warm ears when im out!

Ive just seen there's a deal on Quidco for £15 free cashback for watching 5 plus hours of free films with Netflix so i tink i may do that. Its a free trial and you can cancel wit a few clicks so easy peasy. OH always wants to watch films so i will let him do the watching as im normally to buys sleeping past 9pm lol

Its shopping night tonight and i need a few extras like toilet rolls and calpol which will bump up my bill :(

Right off for a cuppa and nose around the forum

I am sure i wrote on this last night, must be losing my mind...

Hope Owen is doing ok with his teething, is so hard.

yay for new washing machine, hope you can get it working. Will be lovely after so long without one.

That is really good you managed the £35 a week last monthon grocerys. I hate it when you have to get expensive stuff like toilet roll too and it always seems like its something.

It really is cold isn't it!

I've deceided not to bother with the Netflix trial as i read someone on here signed up last night and then this morning had a phone from there bank about supicious buys of flights. Credit card fraud. It may not be linked but its enough to put me off!

Ive printed off a load of money off coupons today so im hoping that will reduce my shop tonight :D

Hey Lilmiss thanks for joining :)

Well its been ages since i posted!! Not much has been going on really, apart from last sunday morning we woke up to about 6 inches of snow and since then a week ago ive been having really bad headaches which im sure are from the brightness of the snow. The snow is still with us now as its been so cold it hasnt melted on the pavements or gardens yet. Roads are pretty much back to normal though. Luckly i was able to drive into work all week with no problems.
Owen wasnt sure what to make of the snow really, its the second time its snowed since he was born but the first time he was only a few weeks old so obv didnt see it. This time i took him out in the garden and on the sleigh. It was deep it went over his wellies and he coldnt walk in it at all bless him.

His been sleeping really well lately 7pm-5.30 most nights. Thursday night he kept me up from 10.30-3am! i think he was hot in his fleecy sleepsuit tbh as when i changed him into Pj's he went to sleep soon after. Its hard to know what to dress him in in this cold weather at night.

Update on the furniture...they didnt call like they were suppose to on the 5th so we called and cancelled the order and got our money back. We then ordered a much nicer dinning set and sideboard from Very. The sideboard has been dispatched and the dinning suite has a lastest delivery date of the 21st Feb. So much better! I will never order from Homebase again there utter rubbish and awful customer sevrices too.

And yesterday my OH finally fitted the washing machine seal!!! And tested it and it works with no leaks. His so proud of himself lol! Only thing is its a bit smelly where its been sat for so long. I ran an empty 15 min wash but it didnt help so i suppose it needs a 90 full wash before i put any clothes in it. But i need to go shopping later and was going to look to see if there's any service type kit to put in and give it a clean.

Ive ordered another two Argos vouchers since ive last been on here so will go update my total now. But grrr that i havent kept my gorcey total pto date. But i havent been over the £35 a week still so thats good.

Yay, working washing machine and a full nights sleep :). We've had loads of snow too, it's still hanging around, so wish it would go!

I'm been back doing doing surveys to try and get some extra pennies too. I'm trying to do all of them that are offered to me so it's building up quite quickly. OH will be 30 in May so am trying to save to get him a decent present. Have also got into vouchers and freebies, won two of the free bottles of tropicana which was good, gave one of the vouchers to OH as he buys it at full price!! I really wanted to get picked for the Olay one but I wasn't, have got some trials of things though which are handy as dishwasher tablets are expensive to buy and I've been lucky enough to get lots of them to try over the past few years.

We have had a fair bit of snow here too. Bless owen not being able to walk in it.

Glad he has been sleeping well for you, bet you feel good!

Sounds like a good call on the furniture from homebase, sounds awful service.

Well done on the vouchers your total is coming along nicely.
