Helloo!! Good news that you still have job choices - and that you are able to make that choice to suit you and your lifestyle :D

A break in Spain sound good - I am off skiing for Easter Weekend and can't wait.

As for the mortgage - well this month I moved down into the next £10,000 bracket.....always a satisfying moment. Shame there are still 16 such brackets to go :rotfl:

    Hello :hello:
Ooops, can't believe it's been so long since I've logged in :o
I had problems with my internet for a while, then realised that perhaps I was spending too much time online and had better do some other things instead.

Life has been busy! Nothing in particular - just work life and family life and lots of running and moneysaving and doing things slowly but surely on the house.
I've continued to batch cook, meal plan and the veggie patch is ready and about to be planted up (I've been non-MSE and bought the plants rather than growing 1000's from seed :o)

Thanks for checking up on me MW :kisses3: hope you are feeling ok.
And HELLO and Congratulations to you lovely DT!!! I read about your news yesterday but couldn't post, I will defo subscribe to your shiny new MFW thread :T

Well, we did get some bonuses but decided to boost our savings as DH is self-employed and cautious, but have overpaid £2.5k this week taking us under the £230k mark - so that is a good feeling :j

I have switched banks to FD after listening to a friend singing it's praises for years and have received the £100 :money: It was all very smooth and I'm really impressed with them so far.

Also, after numerous automated calls telling me that "time is running out to reclaim my PPI payments" - I've decided to get on the case. I am almost 100% sure that I haven't had PPI on anything bar my first mortgage - which I thought was compulsory - but if they will insist on ringing me - they must know something I don't....

So finger's crossed for a little (or large) windfall!

Hope everything's going well for everyone? I'll have a catch up on a few diaries now :)
  • Yay Macgirl you're back :j :j
I missed you after you left the DFW board, I myself have not posted for a year or so :o
So nice to hear your updates on the house and everything else!
Will keep reading, so please post more!

P.S - Ive been puzzling over your username and have come to three possibilities
    1) You love MAC make-up
    2) You type all your posts on an Apple Mac
    3) You have a penchant for wearing a raincoat a la Columbo?

Right.... off to update my dusty diary
