To cold for me but each to their own, average high is 58/14 in jan0 -
cheers mate - wife suffers from poor circulation so will give this a miss otherwise she'll freeze I reckon!
I'm just trying to keep her away from the shops...0 -
We did the tour on 1st May and it was decidedly chilly. We were prepared with hoodies and I had a scarf, but one guy in shorts and a T-shirt had to buy a sweatshirt at the shop there and he still froze.
The guys running the tour provided gloves and sunglasses for those that needed them.0 -

Guess thats the price to pay for a constitution that says you have the right to arm (or something similar) still sad though, the latest massacre was truly horrific and I for one as a parent dont know how you come to terms with it.
Radio 2 were saying today that over 50% of all guns in the world are in the USA but they only have 5% of the population.
May have heard this wrong, but thought they said there had been 95000 shootings in the last 12 months0 -
And there are nine guns for every ten population there.illegitimi non carborundum0

VALUE FOR MONEYJust listened again to radio 2 (jeremy vine) and they did say 94000+ people have been shot (they didnt say killed) in the USA so far this year, if correct that is a very sad statistic0
