yes - it says something about rates based on one night stay, rates vary depending on length of stay...we've always found 5 nights per reservation is the most it will let us have comped (may very well be different for others with higher levels of play)... which is why sometimes, for us - we would book 5 days on his account and 2 or 3 or 4 on mine...if we could each get up to 5 nights on our own...and link them so we don't have to change rooms.

I do think the break is 3 days, at least that's what I've head before...so if you wanted to stay somewhere 5 days, move for 3 somewhere you're not using TR comps, then move back to the original, it might be doable...but never know for sure until you actually go in and try to book the 2nd reservation...it used to be that if had a 5-night comped reservation, and then went in and tried to book the next few nights on the same account, you would get an error...not sure if that's still the case.

Wonder what they will replace all these with....
“Phantom” is the third show to announce its departure from the Venetian and its sister property, Palazzo, in the past year. “Jersey Boys” has closed at Palazzo and is headed for a March opening at Paris Las Vegas. Blue Man Group is leaving Palazzo for Monte Carlo this fall. No replacement shows have been announced at either hotel.

So playing about with dates on the totalrewards and I see that Ferfs calendar has comp1 and mine hs comp2, I believe that mine means partially comp.

I have a list of comp2 for 5 nights if I choose just 1 night its free,no tax but if I choose all 5 nights it charges $45/n + tax. Why does it do that? Can I book 5 nights seperate with no charge or tax and link booking as Ferf suggested?

    Little bit confused:o

Hi -I don't think so...not on one account - my example was using 2 different accounts, so 2 different people with comps in their own right. You could try though - book the first night (it's free, so you won't be charged anything - you will have to give a CC number but won't be charged - and can go back and cancel)...go back in - and see what it shows you for the second night.

Would also be worth looking at what your 5 nights would cost on Hot Deals or Friends and Family to compare - it may be that it's a drastically reduced rate for all 5 and a good deal...our first time using this system many years ago we had $70/night across 7 nights and were absolutely over the moon with it (book it book it! hubby was yelling at me). :)

It's a weird system, but at least it allows you to play around a bit and see what the options are.

Can stay most of November at Rio for about a tenner!!!!

I once got IP for $8-I had to call to book it as I was booked into the Flamingo the night before-and they reduced it from the TR grid price of $10 lol (didn't stay the night-we just wanted a base for the day to dump our bags and have a shower before catching a red eye -they even checked me in at 8am)

I rather like the Rio and have had comp nights there before moving onto the Strip-rooms are huge. Overall for an off strip stay the Orleans has the edge for me though.

Doesnt comp2 mean that you have entered two account numbers, so you are seeing comps for 2 accounts combined?

Those were the strip hotels I could find at good prices - anything else you would suggest?

If price is your guide, then you could add Harrahs, Flamingo, IP and Bills for strip location.

Out of those 8 though it would be Ballys or Flamingo for me

I know some on here have used Delta to get to Vegas.

For any that have is it reallly the case that you can only take a bag with dimensions of 22x14x9 on board.

If so we were really spoilt last year with BA carry on case with no weight limit.
