Hi
Just looking for some advice if possible please. We are looking to book our first holiday to Las Vegas from the 15th to 24th April 2013 and have found flights with BA and staying at the Luxor for £1515 for the 2 of us.
Is this a good price or am I likely to find it cheaper closer to the time?
Also, is the Luxor a nice place to stay?
Thanks in advance

If that's for direct BA flights then it seems like a good deal at the minute when you look the price of flights on their own for those dates...flights are coming in at £782...so more than the total you have for flights + hotel - again, assuming the flights are direct with BA.
Possible you could get it cheaper when they had a sale on but right now it seems like a good deal.
We thought Luxor was OK, but we prefer mid-strip...others prefer south, still others don't think it matters. What type of room at Luxor?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Its for direct flights with BA and the room is Pyramid Deluxe - 2 queen beds (but can upgrade to Suite 770 Sq.Ft - 2 queen beds or 1 king bed for an extra £170) through ebookers.com
Thanks0 -

As ferf says the price is OK, I also prefer midstrip, the pyramid rooms are getting old and tired now (so i am led to believe), I wouldnt pay to upgrade, I would try thr £20 on arrival for an upgrade or go to a diff hotel altogether0 -
Hi all
don't know if anyone has ever seen it but points.com is a decent site for keeping all your hotel/ flight miles tracked. I had some miles that were due to expire and not worth much so 'sold' them to points.com for £55 last night. You can chose to do this via paypal and it took a couple of days to come through. You can also swap then with other people or chose gift vouchers etc (all US stores) but the paypal option gave you the most back. Might be worth a look if you have miles expiring soon
I looked into this last night. Unfortunately I have just under the minimum 25,000 miles needed to redeem American Airlines. However hubby has 1100 miles more than me even though we have taken the same amount of flights so looking to redeem his.
I could buy an extra 1000 miles, but found out that there is an admin fee of $30 in addition to buying the miles so not sure if it's worth it for mine.
It's certainly not worth buying miles to fly as it costs the same as just buying a ticket.0 -
In case anyone missed the last groupon, I've got voucher for scoot city tours available due to bad weather on my last trip meaning we couldn't use it. The tours generally get rave reviews - see http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attract...as_Nevada.html - and at £80 for 2 the voucher is great value.

Please send me a PM if interested.0 -

I stayed at Monte Carlo 2 years ago. The room was ok, not as big as some of the other rooms I have stayed in at Las Vegas and a bit dated. The pool was really good though. We stayed there in May 2010. I preferred Bally's as the room was huge, and for me it was better located.0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYA question about points.com
Has anyone redeemed points via paypal and the withdrawn the money from there? I have a paypal account, but haven't used it much, so I'm not sure if that is possible.0
