Hi,
Im off to the USA in September, part of the trip is 4 nights in Vegas (Aria). Im soooo excited.
We would like to do a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, is it better value to book before we go or when we arrive? Same for the shows etc?
Also what do people budget for a daliy spend in Vegas?
Thanks
I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!0 -

Absinthe gets all the rave reviews, but not really sure that's what i'd like to see... OH mentioned Jersey Boys, and as it's been talked about in here in the last few posts, would people recommend it?
there's no real 'type' of show we'd like to see, but would just like to take in a Vegas show
any recommendations gratefully received :T
I got seats 6 or 7 rows from the front and in the centre excellent seats first posted by retepetsir who went yesterday.
there is a whole thread about these tickets on Vegasmessageboard http://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76034

If you want Cirque firstly I am not a circus type show fan but both KA and LOVE were great and there is a summer of cirque promotion on at mo tickets from $55
If any of the above interest you I would purchase before you leave rathr than hope they are available when you get there, that way you dont have to queue at at a ticket booth and then queue again to get ticket from box office0 -

How long is a piece of string?
Fast food and no gambling you could spend $20 a day , posh restaurants and lots of gambling and you could spend $00000000s a day, it really is up to you0 -

Probably even some of the less expensive buffets with 2-for-1 voucher for breakfast and dinner and you could come in under that.I'm thinking Gold Coast or MSS for breakfast and Orleans for dinner...that sort of thing
Not that I particularly advocate 2 buffets in one day, have never and likely would never do it...but you could...but since the options are so vast, totally agree that what you spend on food especially is really down to what you want to spend...espeically using all the discount options available.
And the gambling thing too - options for any budget really.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYSpa deal for Paris or PH spa...$99 for $200 worth of treatments.

Automatic 20% gratuity on full price added...but would expect that anyway.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Get out to Terribles for $3.99 all you can eat brekkie. In and out burger on the way to Rio or by UCLV for about $5 for a 2x2 animal, with fries lite and a coke, and Ellis Island steak dinner for $7.99 steak, potato, green beans and a homebrew beer, with a salad.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

Good option too!We almost never eat 3 meals in Vegas, but it does show you can eat quite inexpensively. Pretty sure we have had <$10 days even...usually those that end at Ellis Island for ribs so we don't eat much earlier in the day.
Just over 5 months to go still...it seems sooooo far away.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
