Likewise delta from lhr into Detroit. No probs as I recall... In fact I'm sure it was just a stroll down the terminal for us!

Picture of the strip from 1990. Excalibur brand new. Luxor not even built yet. Find pictures like this amazing. The manner of change in LV in just over 20 years is immense!

Ive stayed at Venetian but not at Wynn......and I would go for Wynn!!! Its only across Sands Avenue (?) from Venetian, so not that much further away from mid-strip, but from what Ive seen, its more upscale and "special" than Venetian......even tho we loved the V.

The Wynn for us as its got the FSM just across plus a Deuce and Goldline bus stop - we are just back after a week in LV and the walking does eventally get to you. Stayed at Wynn but never Venitian, but would like to try it.

Maybe write a short trip report at the weekend once this man flu clears up Usual routine for us........nothing too exciting.

Is a UK driving licence accepted to go on the tour.

Yes,but I don't actually remember them looking at it or asking if I had a licence.

i've seen people mention the Scoot City tours before and they get great reviews on Tripadvisor, etc... but I'm not sure what I'm missing, they don't look thaaaat interesting?

is the park a disappointment compared to the GC? i appreciate they're different things...

on the face of it, it sounds like my kinda thing, but not sure if 4-odd hours of it would get a bit boring?

I went with my OH and children, they were arguing as they both wanted to go in with their Dad as he is apparently a lot more 'fun' when driving! I don't drive in US so was a little nervous as you have to drive on main roads with huge lorries passing you.

I cant compare GC and Red Rock as Ive never been to GC (only been to Vegas 12 times....:o)

Have just bought a groupon for it :) THAT many people on TA can't be wrong ;)

For some reason, there was an extra $10 off when I put the order in my basket, so anyone else may get that too...

means the groupon cost $115 :)

There is !!!!!! all to RR Canyon. It's only saving grace is it's relatively close to the Strip. The walks and scenery are not as good as either Mt Charleston or Valley of Fire and to mention it in the same sentence as the GC is like ........ comparing Skegness to Vegas. (i was going to use Blackpool, but that was a couple of orders of magnitude too high).
