Congrats! We're actually around 1/4 of the way through the year so being a third of the way through your debt repayment is fantastic! :T

    Congratulations Natlie.
As others have said; nothing wrong with a wedding on a budget and not saddling yourself with tens of thousands of pounds worth of debt. You'll have a fantastically special day:love:

No debt news for me today - another £12 out for yet another trip. £5 spending money for todays trip, £5 spent on window cleaner. How DO you all manage NSD's - I just can't do it, but its not as if I ever buy mags, coffees, lunch etc. Its a bit depressing really :(

recurrent-ostrich – well done for cancelling the gym – that’s a big saving each month! I’m looking forward to July when I can downgrade my moble contract – I should be able to save £20 a month or so…..well unless I get seduced by an iphone4…..

Dolly rocker well done on the weight loss. I am another that has hovered around the same weight for ages, but I only have around 6lb to lose so its quite difficult now. I’m off on a girls weekend in May so that should be my motivation, but I just LURVE food.:o:o

Webitha – I would have a little treat with the kids! You’re doing so well to get almost to half way! I’m slacking a bit as I was hoping to get to 25% by the end of March so I have a little catching up to do.

Antonia1 I would move back in with the folks. £500 is a lot to be able to save every month & a few months of sharing will be worth it in the long term. As others have said, you can always move back out if it doesn’t work out.

    Natalie - Congratulations!

Congrats Natlie, your wedding sounds fab! We had a really small do too, no stress. After all, it's the marriage that counts, not how much you spend on one day.

Trying to be frugal here, have spent £1 on children's entertainment for the holidays so far! Big meet up and picnic today so must go and start making sandwiches.:D

Congratulations Natlie! That is excellent news, have you told your kids yet? Getting married quickly seems more stressful, but it could also be that you're so busy you don't have time to get stressed.

I got my car insurance refund today :j:j:j. Taken some out to pay my for my sister's dress and the rest has gone to my credit card. New debt total:
