I am with you on the voucher front Jakes-mum. I have taken ages to get a £5 amazon voucher through swagbu*ks, yet people say it is easy to build it up quickly. I haven't had a survey for ages. I have had a couple of £10 vouchers through another survey site. What is the secret with sb if you don't mind sharing. I am trying to build up vouchers for christmas too, Many thanks.;)

    Hi there

I'm not an official member of your club, but I do peer in occasionally to keep me going! I'm on track with my debts: £1,000 a month (on top of mortgage payments). Woohoo!

Thanks for the post DebtFreedom, I like your signature! Would you like to be an official member??? We'd love to have you on board! :j xxx

Hi everyone, I'd like to join this challenge please. We have £6800 left to pay off, as I paid off £3300 of our debt yesterday. Is it ok if I cheat and put our starting amount as £10,100 and that we have paid off £3300. I will feel a lot more motivated if it looks like I've paid off a big chunk already....
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone that posts on here

Your wish is my command! I'll put you down for a starting total of £10100 and paid off of £3300. Lovely to have you on the team hun!!! xxx

    Hi all,

Well I've not had a very MSE weekend at all!! I went on a Spa Day on Sat as an early birthday/late mothersday present to myself ;) It was fab & included 2 course lunch & 2 treatments for £109. We even went in the gym for an hour and I was horrified at how unfit I am. Last October I completed the couch to 5 K programme & now I cannot jog for more than 2 mins without gasping for breath :(

    Ruth

Spa Day...*sigh* I went to one a couple of years ago and it will be my big treat once I'm debt free. There is one in Oswestry which has a snow cave!!! It's chuffin awesome!!!

Mmm well it was harder than I expected! I'm going to do the second one when I get home today. I couldn't do it in the mornings!! Thats very motivated of you!! I'm using the thought of my Mum seeing me for the first time in a year as inspiration as I want her to be surprised by my newly svelte physique... We can but dream lol

Hey you've done fabulously on your weight loss so far hun! 7.5kgs??!!!! Fantastic!!! :T:T:T

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been reviewing our budget using MS Money and scarily, spent £529.33 in Feb and £432.05 in March on Food alone! It's now obvious the food budget is our downfall - all the little trips to the shop here and there soon add up! Well worth me spending the two days back tracking through the last 3 months worth of transactions!

Most of the DD have gone out today so just to summarise have paid off £398.51 minus interest so that brings me to:

    #304 £1566.34/£5210.12 (30.06%) :j

On another downside cap1 only gave me a credit limit of £500, so I won't be saving as much as I first thought.

Food's my biggest downfall too. Considering there is only 1 of me then I am astounding at how much I spend on food alone... Great total by the way! :j:j:j

Hmmm well I have slowed down on the voucher collecting but still get one about once every 2 weeks

I do the daily poll everyday, the NOSO everyday, 2 x searches (really obscure things to try and get higher points, like random sayings from whatever im watching on tv :rotfl:), check swagc0de sp0iler regularly, watch the videos on special offers/supersonic (you can have them all running at once :D), check for surveys on special offers/peanut labs.

Make sure your info on the survey page has been completely filled in, and . . . well . . . I may not always be completely honest when filling thm out :o ive had a few different jobs ;)

I think you're doing fabulously well hun! Being at nearly 12% is nothing to be sniffed at considering we have all been in debt for soooooo long...! Give yourself a massive pat on the back for what you've achieved and now put a plan of attack together to up the ante!!! :T:T:T

Thanks, although I didn't go for that run this evening :o, work this afternoon really tired me out. I'll have to go tomorrow now, and expend less energy at work so I'm not tired again! :rotfl:
