Solicitors bill paid last night, first SO should have taken for my portion of the bills., although I need to go back into our budget planner and work our the exact amount we should both be paying.
We built the chest of drawers last night, can't wait to get home from work and put some more clothes away. I was good and washed some clothes before bed so hung them out before coming to work. Need to give the washing machine drawer a good scrub as it's filthy. I'll probably do a high temp was with the towels as well to give the machine a good clean out, just a shame I'm using liquid 2in1 tabs right now and not powder as that would clean it better.
Trying to save as much money as I can right now as I know OHs pay is going to be really low next month as he's having an operation. Fingers crossed this will stop his time off work though and make him have a much better quality of life.
I'm thinking I'll probably go with the White Filling, I'll only end up regretting it if I go with a silver one.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

Hi all,
Well I'm feeling fed up today. I thought I had the month all planned out & DS has come home with yet another trip letter. This one is a year 8 week long trip & so I ignored it in the newsletter as he's in year 7. BUT its for October, so he will be Year 8 by then. Deposit is £185  which I don't have & its due in on monday.
The worst part is, they have scheduled it for the last week of school before the October half term. We have booked to go to Florida in those 2 week hols (hence my BIG debt). We've booked flights for the Thursday (much cheaper
) & were hoping to call in sick (to school, not work) for the last 2 days of term. Our school do not authorise time off for holidays so now my evil plan has been scuppered.....
Not sure how to play it now? Do I :
a) fess up & plead for the time off & prob end up with 2 days unauthorised. Pay for the trip & drive to collect DS early.
b) refuse to send him on the trip (not sure what grounds I could use) & then throw the sickie. This option would look well dodgy :rotfl:BUT would save me £285 & as DH quite rightly pointed out "thats half an Ipad"

Flippin' eck Ruth, you can't get more unlucky than that! I'd go for 1 but then am too honest for my own good. Good luck with that one!
Well I managed to pay us something today, a long time coming! We have been living off dh's other income during most of March, which has meant we've had to be really frugal. But it's been worth it as another £750 to virgin leaving us at:
£2654.53/6109.94
Isn't it lovely when you make a payment! :j:j
Now in the past, I have worked hard to get it down to around £3k then it's crept back up again. Not this time though! Hate credit cards! Hate them!
Have a lovely weekend everyone.:DMake £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Hi All
Payday has finally arrived. Although it's a little crap, so going to be ANOTHER crap month. My own fault so will stop moaning!
Since I am a DMP, payments will be small from me from now on. I am going to save up now for F&F's so I can hopefully convince them to decrease my debt at the end of the year! £350 from me
#4 £2770.78/£13876.93 19.9% So close to 20%
£6.16 away from being under 11k
Have a good weekend peepsIn debt no more!0 -

If you want to Save for F&Fs could you put the money in a savings account and class it as a payment as you're not going to be using the money and it is going to come off your debt? That way you might feel like you're making more progress?Well done on almost 20%
