  • Haha talking of sleeping... I quite often talk, and have been known to sit up and hold a conversation in my sleep! Apparently I've recently been getting a bit naughty and I have NO recollection! He is quite offended :D

Pedro stay! Just aim for as much as you can :)

Jemma, I didn't go in in the end. I've got an interview with recruitment company Monday and I was advised by others on here to leave the resignation until I've found something else as I don't want to be completely out of work.

I've been at a bbq today with work friends and I really do miss all my work colleagues! We all get on so well, and I haven't seen them for months! Apparently everyone thinks it's awful about my ears, yet none of the bugg@rs have got in touch! Someone said can't the doctor just lie and say you are ok... I was like 'yeah and then when I get more damage I'll just sue them!!'... i think because they don't actually know what the issue they, they dn't want to take the risk!

Anyway hope you are all doing ok :)

Karenann went to ikea and found I can reuse the existing carcass so saved a bunch of money then remembered we have a box of the poles which we accidentally picked up the first time and got 100 for the price of 1!

Brilliant! You should look on ebay though and see if you can get the other carcass(es) and the komplement fittings. I always sort by distance first so I dont buy anything too far away and then shedloads on fuel!

Got up extra early to use the freelancing money that came in this morning to nudge me over 30%. Shoved a bit more in the savings account to pay off those pesky loans.

    #123 - 3327 / 10762

I think by the end of April I won't get to 40% unless something remarkable happens. Up 1/4 an hour early to play with my internet banking...I must be obessed.

oooh how did your first one go??? xxx

It went well, I have some slides to update before I have to do the presentation for the other two on Monday, but the director finally understands the piece of equipment I work on (he's had it explained lots of times but never understood) so I'll take that as a win.

Hoping this will all pay off when it comes to my review time in August and I get a good rating which would equal a good pay rise :)

Morning all! Hope everyone is doing well today. No more debt busting to report unfortunately, tho my insurance refund should come through in the next day or so.

I did, however, manage to have a huge row with my flatmate last night. I just started to run a bath and went into my room to grab my towel and pjs, and while I was in my room she sneaked in to the bathroom . And apparently I was being unreasonable by getting annoyed cos she was only gonna be 10 mins. Well I was only going to be 15 mins anyway so her 10 mins meant that I wasn't out of the bath when my TV show to came on . Really wish I was childish enough to nip into the bathroom as she's about to get into the shower in the mornings (to prove my point), but that really seems a bit petty. Must try to keep calm instead.

Psychopathbabble, probs a good decision to wait til you have a new job - you definitely don't want to start building up more debt if you don't get something immediate. Tis rubbish being stuck in a job you don't like tho.

Fallenwiccan, I know it isn't very MSE, but I would only ever consider white fillings (unless I literally couldn't afford to pay the mortgage), as I don't consider them a luxury, particularly where it might be visible.

Hope your ears get better soon, jakes-mum, I have only had earache once and it nearly drove me mad. And not sleeping properly defo won't be helping.

Yes, you should be feeling an improvement now Jemma! Maybe you have been given the wrong antibiotic...My middle child woke up this morning groaning that her tummy hurt and that her head was aching, so I kept her off school. Less than an hour later and she is asking to go to IKEA for lunch. All my years working in hospitals and I still can't tell when one of the children just fancies a day in bed <sigh>. It is kind of nice to snuggle up on the sofa watching cartoons with her!
