Great news Jemma...but beware the curse of the sober person at the staff party!

One guy at our office doesn't drink because of his religious beliefs, and he's always the one to remember the stupid stuff people say and in my case the ridiculous dancing. And I love getting reminded about the stuff I do when drunk.

Hope what you've heard does take a weight off your mind, stress at work is very hard to forget when you go home every night.

Happy St Patrick's day to everyone.

Off out in a bit to collect for a couple of hours for Marie Curie Cancer care. Fingers crossed it stays dry as out in the open in the middle of town.

Does anybody else ever have days where they suffer from so much impatience? I'm having one of those today......payday still two weeks away :( DFD still many months away. I want away with this debt now! :rotfl:

I want to see balances grow now, but it is still nice seeing them decrease :D

    Hi everyone :j
Sorry I've not updated for ages....been so busy and just don't seem to get the time....plus it's been a sluggish month. I'm tempted to feel a little down and out cause it's all work and not much to show for it....BUT THERE IS NO ROOM FOR SELF PITY!!!!! Life is ok.... and the debt is slowly slowly disappearing!!

Keep up the good work people

    So my new total is:

    #063 16426.70 / 17630.02

I should add that my debt is now the lowest it's been for over 3 years..... that's something to celebrate I guess!!!
  • Wishing everyone a great weekend.
    Great news Jemma :D
I echo everyone waiting for that slow coming payday but also a good reminder from Malmol09 that for me and probably many of us it took a long time to get into our debt so it is not surprising that it will take us a long time to get out again ;)
I first got into debt when I went part-time after my second child was not happy with a childminder. I kept spending like I was still getting full-time wage. Not major debt but it was the beginning of the attitude "I'm working so I deserve to spend what I like" instead of sticking to budget as I had previously. My present debt stems from that attitude although the amount is due to split from ex OH.
So I am changing a habit I have had for about 19 years. I am getting there :)
Debt Free. Have my Van. :) Find dream

Loubie Lou, Know that feeling my payday is on Wednesday this week and the last two weeks have been dragging as well as waiting on some funds to land from elsewhere.

Off to Scotland on Wednesday and Thursday so Friday is debt clearing day.

Feeling so much more positive now the sun is out
