Thanks everyone for the support about work and info about the pill! Unfortunately Kerri, I was being uber good and did a spring clean of my room a couple of weeks ago and threw out all my empty packets!
rdchick, I used to be on the injection but then they asked me to come off it as there was some research being done to see if there was a link between the injection and an increased risk of osteoporosis...? Anyway, they recommended that I started on Cerrazette which is just like the injection as you don't have any periods (unless of course you run out and then it messes your system up!). You don't have a break in these pills, you just take one every single day.
I'll just ring up every doctors surgery around me tomorrow to speak to a nurse somewhere and get some more. That'll be a funny conversation with my boss tomorrow (male) about women's problems if I have to go during work time especially as I also have an opticians appointment at 3.10pm that I have to nip out for and he was soooo dubious that I said it wasn't a cover for an interview that I told him that he could come with me! Imagine if he came with me to see my nurse for the pill. There'll definitely be some rumours starting then :rotfl: Don't worry he wasn't being serious about following me around...I hope!
Well, last night I went out with my best friend for a few drinks , I was in by 11pm and my parents were laughing at me making a bacon butty completey hammered! :rotfl: Had a good catch up though but my head is a bit muggy this morning. Worst luck is that it's mothers day so ALL the family is coming round: my younger sister has fallen out big style with my youngest sister, both my younger sisters cannot stand my older sister and my dad cannot stand my grandma who's also coming up cos it's mothers day for her too. Even worse is that I agreed to cook a full roast dinner (Jakes-mum, you'd be proud!) and it's not good when you have a hangover!
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all you lovely mothers out there and I hope your children make you feel really special today. I have a hangover so my other sisters will have to make my mum feel special... :rotfl:New Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

DH's 0% is up in may and having looked at the 0% deals on martins homepage ive realised its going to cost me £74 to transfer on the current offers
knew I should have done it last month when barclaycard were offering 1.6% transfer fee
Will hold off till next month inthe hope a better transfer fee appears but I wont hold my breath
On a happier note, was woken this morning at 6:50am  by DD poking me in the back whispering 'its 8 ooclock mummy' and then thrusting a bag into my half asleep face :rotfl: I had a lovely hand made scroll telling me I am the worlds best mummy and a black plate that DD insisted was for cutting bread on  but after checking with Gran, is actually just decorative :rotfl: glad I didnt follow DDs advice :rotfl: :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -

Big sigh! At least someone remembered it was mothers day! It took till 11 for the husband to remember after a huge hint, then got kid home and hubby forgot to tell him where the card is!
So I am having a major sulk!0 -
Well considering I bought all the food for today's mothers dy dinner yesterday, you'd have thought my sister would have thought "ooh I'll see if she needs some help" but nooo I've had to spnd 2hrs cooking the flaming roast by myself whilst my sister and mother sit in heir backsides, I've also had to watch my 2yo nephew at the same time as they couldn't be arsed. I might sound a bit brattish, but surely it's polite to at least help with the roast not just expect to be waited on?Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Ahh camuk that has been me on previous years, it seems DH has actually learnt that we are NOT to ignore mothers day
He brought me a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea in bed this morning AND peeled the potatoes, carrots and parsnip for me and watched the meat whilst I (this is the most amazing bit btw, though the rest feels like I was dreaming :rotfl:) went over to my mothers WITHOUT any kids   I honestly thought DD was surgically attached to me as she never allows me to go anywhere alone unless she gets to go to nursery :rotfl: :rotfl:
Thats not good at all Kerri, I think a few pointed comments would have been called for toward your sister, thats just rude.

Woohoo!!! Been reviewing my whole financial situation this past week and think that if I'm able to get accepted for a 0% bt sometime around November, my debt free date will jump back to April 2012 AND save me nearly £1000 in interest!
On the downside, I hate looking so far into the future as it seem so far away and when it finally gets here it never seems as good as what you thought it was going to be

Bus pass ran out yesterday and I wasn't paying for another one so it cost me £3.60 to get to work today, thankfully my parents are picking me up as the same to get home would've really made me want to cry.
Barely slept last night, I'm going to be a zombie by tomorrow night and I can't even have an early night after moving into the house as the metros are off after 9pm in places and OH has to work 5-11 so I'll have to go pick him up.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

I was a good girl last night, sat and listed 10 items on ebay
Am thinking about spending the afternoon going through the cupboard under the stairs for more hidden treasures
I would also have a look in the loft but after the last trip up there I think DH would actually do me in if by some miracle I didnt finish meself off trying to get up there
Oh I dont miss the late night pick ups fallen wiccan  DH used to work 3 shift pattern and when he was on 2 - 10pm I would have to pick him up (pre kids and house) so I could bomb round in his car while he was working :rotfl:
Ooooo I can now tell you all :j :j He has started a new temporary job todayI didnt dare say anything before (known for a week) as I was worried i'd jinx it
. From what I understand, its a 9 month contract but broken down into 3 x 3 month ones (I assume to make it easier on the company should the work drop and to keep peoples work standards up) but even if its only 3 months, thats another 3 months of not worrying about the mortgage money
