Awesome news Jemma. You can take your old packet to the nearest pharmacy for an emergency one pack :-) then sign up to Bo0ts prescription service and you can order it to your local store for free every two months. I order a month in advance as it takes 4weeks to process and the dr can only do 2 months on repeat. If I went to the dr every time I needed my pill or thyroxine repeated I'd never leave there haha.

I read the Internet a lot :p also my job is basically research and problem solving, so if I don't know something I go and find the answer :-) so if someone asks a question here and I don't know the answer I go and look it up then I know for next time :-)
Maybe I should get out more...

Just went round the SMs with my sister, found them all too noisy, especially Mr A advertising here, advertising there... I tried to bulk buy some choc bars but couldn't choose from all the noise so gave up.

I first got into debt when I went part-time after my second child was not happy with a childminder. I kept spending like I was still getting full-time wage. Not major debt but it was the beginning of the attitude "I'm working so I deserve to spend what I like" instead of sticking to budget as I had previously.

Blimey, that sounds familiar! And it's taken me nearly 10 years to work it out! During recent declutter I found our bank statements from 98/99. We were earning the same then as we do now :o. But we do have 2 lovely kids, and a very lovely dog!

About to open the weekly bottle of wine, yey! Happy saturday evening everyone!

Oh, and great news about the job Jemma.:)

    Hi All
Had quite a fun time this week - met some gfriends for lunch on Thu and it was good to catch up. We all gave birth to our youngest at the same hospital and when we were on Mat Leave, we used to meet up all the time. Then work got in the way and our meet ups have gradually got longer and longer apart. I couldn't believe the changes in their daughters and made sure to take plenty of photos...who knows when we will next meet up! :o
I think if you live overseas and do not have any family nearby, then friends become super-important...we did not stop yakking for the whole meal!
It is Spring Break for the children next week and they are already asking 'Where are you taking us'? Aargh, I am not the Cruise Director in charge of entertainment people! I have arranged for them to meet up with some of their friends, but mainly with the Mums that I am particularly pally with - ha ha!:T The older ones can take themselves swimming and I'll take the younger ones to the playpark...anything MSE is good while I pay this debt down! Ta ra for now x
    #249 Canucksfan - Another $400 paid off...$4500/$17418.95
    Weight loss...don't go there!

    Hello!

Ideal home was great, definitely wouldn't pay to get in though! Got some craft bits and lots of demo's on skincare, candles and make up... Some woman was really pushy with her exfoliant stuff and was like you should buy this because you're stuff clearly ain't working (harsh! I get hormonal ache!) I asked how much it was she was like £50... I thought well my brain works and I can tell you that pot of salt and gloop ain't worth £50! So I walked off... How rude is that though!

Jemma did you get your pill sorted? There's a couple of brands like Yasmin that they can't give you unless you go to the doctors, don't know about repeat proscription though... I am on the jab, can't recommend it enough, no periods (uber MSE lol) and no side effects and lasts 3 months. I just pop to the family planning place and get it done, takes less than 2 mins! Xxx
Life is too short not to love what you do.

I spotted the jeans I bought the oter day that fit me perfectly in the sale last night, so I've ordered them and another pair which were even cheaper still, got 15% off which covered the postage and hopefully the 10% cash back will track so two pairs of jeans for about £34 :-) yay
