Debt update -crap really. Have had to get the kids some new clothes as they'd outgrown everything and as had no spare cash, had to use Next book. Am REALLY cross with myself, but it's done now so I have to move on.

On the upside though, my weight loss is now:

got totally over excited today when I went to pick miss lily up from nursery. They have incubators and 10 eggs, 5 had already hatched and one had a deep crack down the side, I refused to leave and 20 minutes later out came the baby chick :o

Ive never seen anything be born (I may have had 2 kids but I never saw the business end :rotfl:) so I was totally thrilled :o

I was my best friend's birth partner for her HBAC (home birth after caesarean) in November. Most. Amazing. Thing. I have ever seen another human being do. I have close-up, documentary photographs of the whole thing, too (at her request).
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

I called lunchtime today (he said it would be done yesterday) but then I waited until they called me at 4.10pm :P

edit: In MSE news I just bought a ballgown from one of my friends for £35 so that's this years company function outfit sorted. Dark green too so black shoes and a black bag will be fine :)

Oh I'm so happy for you fallenwiccan!!! :T:T:T

Jakes-mum, we had incubators with chicks when I was in primary school and then after watching them hatch, we looked after them for a few weeks before they were taken to a farm. We even got to see them in their new home! I've probably eaten them or their descendants since but it was lovely to look after the eggs then watch them hatch. :)

My appraisal is actually tomorrow morning guys so I've been trying to rack my brain about what to put in it as we have to prove how we've conformed to our company's values, I'm fine with the continuous improvement etc but I need to give examples of where I've been vibrant! Do you think they mean when I wore that brightly coloured skirt the other day...? :rotfl: I'm guessing I need to give examples of being creative, going the extra mile, being enthusiastic etc etc etc... yawn! This is probably going to take a while... Oh well, after it's done then I'll know where I stand and I can actually relax and get my head back into debt busting (and updating this thread - I'm so sorry guys for being so carp recently but I've been working late nearly every night :o)
