:THi all,
Another little payment made today so my new total is
# 306 £2261.33/16779.81
Hugs to Jakes Mum - hope something turns up for your husband soon.
I'm off to SW tonight after a 2 week "holiday" I haven't actually been anywhere but I got fed up with paying the £5 each week. My mission was to get back to within my target zone so that I can go for free each week. My Wii fit says I am there, but that was early this morning & I seem to weigh heavier at night.Must not eat cake today!

Hi all,
Well I lost 2.5lb, so not quite enough to go free. The scales wavered between 2.5 & 3lb lost & settled on the 2.5  I even took my wedding ring off!!
And I've realised that my total is wrong. It should read
# 306 £2361.33/16779.81
Happy Weekend everyone

#266 put me down for £47 please ! more to come next week i promise0 -
#050 reporting weight loss. Lost 7lb this week, which is the first week on diet so my running total as well.
Quick question: As of this month all of my debt is on 0% cards, and so I have decided I would like to start putting extra money into savings (to earn interest but really because I'm less likely to spend on cards if there are balances on there, and to give flexibility in case we decide to get a mortgage sooner than expected).
So can I use my 'net worth' figure (total in savings minus total on credit cards) instead of how much I've paid off my actual debt? Or is that cheating?!DFBX2013: 021 :j seriousDFW £0 [STRIKE] £3,374[/STRIKE] 100% Paid off

We all make our own rules, if I were you I'd make sure I cut up the cards to save temptation, and put the savings somewhere that I can't dip into. "stoozing" - earning interest money when cards are 0% is a good idea though as long as you can be strict with itDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Thanks for the advice.
The cards are out of reach and my wife and I are keeping each other on track, in so much as if there's any spending we're questioning whether it's in the budget or not.

This has been a very up and down week. Have had sickness bug and as am awaiting a meeting re my absences felt i had to go to work anyway. Today finally feeling better HOORAY! have lost 6 lbs which is good as i have not managed to do any dieting since joining the weight loss challenge
The great news is DS has finally got a fulltime job. He has only found a bit of bar work since giving up university 10 months ago and has not worked at all jan/feb. He now has offer of work in pub 2 mins walk from us (this is amazing as we live in country). He is so chuffed and I think this will make him feel so much better about himself.
Good news for me is that he has agreed £150 rent pm so I can put this on my debts and definitely make the monthly payments i need without selling every stick of furniture :j
I am going to take my house off the market for a while and relax for a bit. We have all been far too stressed for the last year.Debt Free. Have my Van.Find dream

Well, having had a quiet couple of weeks, MSE-wise, I have been doing my finances this morning and I realised I have a DD set up for my CC, so without realising it, I've paid off another £50! Having changed energy supplier I also got back some money as I was in credit, so I've just thrown another £50 at the card, which brings my balance under £2000!! Very pleased with that.
So:
#38 new total: £570 / £2529.33 (22.53%)
have a cheap and cheerful weekend everyone!
