Thanks Jemma & Kerri.
I've got a busy day so hopefully will be well distracted. I've never used google docs before - will look into that!
Worst case scenario is to borrow the money. It will just push our DFD back a month or so.

Hmmm... do I have another NSD today, or do I pay £5 and go to the WI meeting this evening? I've never been before, does anyone go? I can't imagine around here that it's going to be loads of old people, there aren't that many old people in this bit of London (or maybe it's where they're all hiding!).Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

This is slightly off topic but my iron has broken, we have been wearing creased clothes for a week now!
Do I buy an iron or a steamer? I like the idea of hanging stuff up and giving it a quick blast of steam and its done! Is that wishfull thinking though? Does anyone have a steamer?

Try hanging your clothes in the bathroom when having a hot shower and bath and see if that does anything!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

OK I like to think im a fairly smart woman, probably not as well educated as I could be (through a hatred of being in the educational system rather than lack of brains) but this application form has got me completely flumoxed!
The ability to work within and achieve agreed and acceptable standards and timescales and manage client expectations
Thats the question! its not even a question its a statement! I dont even know how to begin to answer this! :eek:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -
Surely it's gobbledygook for "the ability to successfully meet deadlines"Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

This is what I was thinking, and have tried to answer it in this way but the whole answer just reads rubbish to meIm not a mechanical person! I have never held a job working with my hands, I was an accountant!! so the way I would answer this for myself has absolutely no bearing on how it needs to be answered for DH.
The next question is also causing me a headache
I think my main problem is I cant think of an opening sentence, if I could come up with a good start i'd be well away :mad:
Hate Hate Hate application forms!! they hold no bearing on the abilities of the applicantSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -
Afternoon all! I've been a busy bee already today -
- ate a very healthy breakfast (berries, oats, yoghurt and orange juice),
- put laundry on delayed wash to finish as I get home from work,
- paid more towards my B*rclaycard (shifted money from overdraft to CC to reduce interest, so no actual debt reduction),
- been to the gym,
- lunch brought in from home (HM chilli with rice),
- just emailed by personal statement to my "personal teaching advisor" (so should be able to send application by the end of tomorrow).
Jakes-mum, there are way to many "and"s in that sentence! I would rearrange into: "The ability to work within agreed timescales, to achieve acceptable standards, and to manage client expectations".
Kerri, I found SW weigh-ins really helpful for keeping me on track. While it doesn't seem very DFW friendly to spend £5 per week, I also found that the amount I cut down alcohol easily paid for that £5. Plus that was when I started to properly meal plan. However, there is a SW thread on one of the other boards with lots of people just weighing themselves at home, and some SW and DFW friendly recipes.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right.
