The "Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2012" challenge - PART 2!!!

Kerri - don't feel too guilty - a comfortable bed is essential
Canucksfan - when we finish paying our debts, we're going to save for a skiing holiday - we love it too and go to the local dry ski slope when we can. Jealous that you have a ski slope (with proper snow) 30 mins away!!
Pedro - I hope your friend made it out of hospital OK
Natlie and Jake'sMum - I hate it when the school trips letters come out as we have never been able to afford to send our 2 on them due to debts and it's horrible telling them that. My DS1 lost bits of his uniform at first but we bought new bits for him and charged him £1 a week out of his pocket money til he'd paid it back - I know it sounds harsh but he never loses anything now!

Well just paid off £840.36. Each and everyday i can feel myself getting closer to freedom. Still got a little emergency fund in my account + my spends for America next month.
Got paid on Friday, put half into the emergency savings as i think it was too low. The rest has paid £70 petrol and £840.36. That should be enough to keep me going until next payday, 16th of March...cant wait if im honest as another leap towards being debt free.Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Well I've lent some money to my daughter again, so I've been unable to make any extra payments, so it's just the usual direct debit for me this time.:(

Hopefully because I've tightened my belt to lend her the money, when she does pay it back to me I'll have a lump sum off my debt to declare.0 -
Hey peeps, long time no see
I have a confession to make. I am a naughty little loubie
I have just come back from a great weekend of drinking and eating crap. It was the little sisters hen doooooo
I feel so rough it's unreal.....the other little sister has gone out for a well known chicken eatery (on her :rotfl:) but I have spent so much it's crazy.
Hey ho, it'll only happen once (hopefully)!
I am back to work next week so that'll be 20 something no spend days!
Had a scare tho........the car wouldn't start this morning (it was only stood idle for two days!! ) luckily sisters friend was around with jump leads. Got to figure out now if I risk taking it to work?
I am wondering now if I am brave enough to check my bank account! :rotfl:

Oh dear god becoming dfw has taken my life, did the shopping on Saturday and bought a gammon joint which has stayed in the fridge as OH didn't want to cook. Was chewing at the waste then went to a chain restaurant and had to wait 10 minutes between husband and my meal coming out and another 4 for kids. Having already waited 50 minutes to get just a main
Poor manager got a grumble but we did get kids meal for free! OH has said he's never taking me out again.0 -
