  • Today I'm enjoying not being at work :T, doing bits of housework, cooking lunch for OH and my sister and hopefully this afternoon cooking LOADS of stuff that can go in the freezer for meals for next week :D

OH is getting a bit fed up with cooking AND washing up when I'm working late, so thought I will try get as much done as possible today and be a good wifey :A Plus tomorrow we're hoping to have a LOTR-a-thon and watch the extended versions back to back, so I won't have time then!! :rotfl:

We're having a family day of sorting out the loft. Scary amount cleared so far ready for more insulation in.

Ah well, it's been a long time needed. Just keep swimming and all that ;)

    Afternoon,

Well just did the weekly shop at Asda and it only cost £31! A great improvement from last week when we spent £160!:T

We didn't really need to get that much, and we used the voucher we got after last weeks shop, so that was £2.83 off :D

297 days to go, i work mine out to be £38 a day + interest....roll on being debt free anyway. Day watching football then night in at gfs tonight...cheap and cheerful weekend for me. Gym and cleaning car out tomorrow. Keeping busy is what keeps spending at bay.
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Just used Martin's car insurance tips and saved £280 off my renewal quote from Swiftcover yay!:money::T

I also got £1.35 cashback from Quidco for using confused.com

Just off to join Costco again after watching Superscrimpers last week, although this time I promise not to buy random sh1te like I used to before I had the kids. Only toilet roll, CokeZero, nappies and washing liquid in bulk. No trays of muffins and no crates of red wine. Although I promised someone in my team I would get him a kilo of Maowams (sorry for the spelling, I know that is way off), which is going to be difficult to get away from without buying something for my 5 year old.

Fingers crossed my resolve stays strong;)
