Ruby congratulations
Jake's mum sounds like you area having a week of it
his misses: future tip if you need some tablets and can hang on for postage try the vet internet sites. Our dog needs tablets that are nearly £300 a month at our local vets. When we get on top our debts we will ask for a prescription and get them at £190. Then just do the normal dosage and bring it down. I know this sounds in humane but its a skin condition that can be treated by bathing and we aren't on benefits to qualify for another vets!
Ps If anyone else thinks they are having a back week mine is currently at:
One broken car wash
Work laptop broken sim card
Starbucks in Lincoln (forced to buy smaller cup of coffee but very MSE)
Laptop 3 times which require a work reset!
Think thats it, so to treat myself a bottle of wine!0 -
Hi Camuk -Thanks! I only needed some flea spot on and house spray, been battling fleas for months and front line gets expensive when you have 4 cats especially from the vets. Bought a cheaper brand, just couldn't resist buying the kitty city stuff. Just paid out to get my latest addition to the family vaccinated, not cheap. Enjoy that wine x0

Congrats Ruby, you are doing fantastic. I hope to be in the next 5 to get debt free. Love having these sort of threads, just gives that extra little bit of motivation. Debt free day cannot come quick enough. Im writing this on my lunch break. Working as much as possible as the end is so near for me. Then il hopefully be in the habit of putting away as much as i can as soon as i can, so i will carry on and do the same with saving. I will still check these threads/this board once i am debt free to remind me i do not want to be here again. Only boards for me once debt free will be Mortgage free wannabe and savings and investments.
Time will tell if this is the case. For now im delighted with my efforts to bring my goal forward and i can finally move on from this low point to greater things and alot more freedom.Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Payday yesterday and I was only overdrawn by £73 (compared to £730 when I first started this)
So although I have only really paid off about £400 of my CC, I have really made a difference of about £1100, which I am so proud of. Hopefully next month I'll end up in credit, so can make more frequent payments.
Good luck everyone and keep going!!!Lightbulb moment Nov 2011

Well done Ruby,
Sorry I've been AWOL, new job means I get up at 5.30 each morning and by the time I get home I catch up but forget to post as I'm soooo tired. Working from home most of this week though, so unlike last week where I ate lunch out each day, I can have my beanie toasties
Just had a horrid morning with OH talking about marriage, he doesn't ever want to get married so I have finally ended up telling him the only compromise is for me to never want o marry him then, otherwise the conversation will keep coming up. I feel quite upset about this, but brave face n thatjust needed to tell someone.
Debt wise I've paid £13 to lloyds, but old work haven't paid me what I thought so I'm missing moneyhope new work payme on Wednesday otherwise I'll just pay my £90 to wescott and won't clear lloyds until end of march. It's all 0% so doesn't matter too much, but im still disappointed that I can't get down to 1 remaining creditor yet
Not the happiest update from me, so I'm going to go find cake!
