I had a bit of an epiphany and thought it might be a setting on here so I looked in the User CP Options and found different interface types and clicked the 2nd option as opposed to WYSIWYG which it was on. Hey presto!!! I'm so chuffed it now works... :ANew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

Finding things tough again this week. I'm off my feet at the moment so hubby is having to do everything including the cooking. The way the house looks at the moment he isn't doing the tidying or the cleaning though
Anyway, back to the cooking, he is driving me insane as he is spending a fortune on ready prepared stuff rather than looking at what we have and what he could make. I know I shouldn't be tough on him but all budgets are out of the window until I am mobile again.
Another thing, my laptop seems to have died - it won't switch on - the lights just flash on and off. All my spreadsheets are on there and I feel that I've had my right arm cut off not being able to look through them. Hopefully hubby will take me to pc world tomorrow to get it checked out. I will then put the spreadsheets into my dropbox account so I can access them from other computers.0 -
Well done Jemma and Pedro
The
HALLE-CHUFFIN-LUYAH!!!!!Then I'm going to do the sensible thing with the CC and when I buy something for £10, log onto internet banking and pay it off straight away
Tomorrow I will update you of news that I've only got 2 out of 6 creditors remaining....how awesome is that! In fact this time last year I had an additional 2 payday loan companies, so that'll be 2 out of 8 remaining :T:T:T and only just over £2k to pay. Hurry up midnight.
Kerri that's exactly what I do with my CC now so as not to bump the balance up. Use it and pay off that amount straight away.
And really well done on your diminishing list of creditors :T:T:mad: tesco bank you should be ashamed of yourselves! 4 more loan payments to go annnnnnnnnnnd
Dear Mr Jakesdad, To say thank you for being an existing loan customer we'd like to offer you an exclusive rate when you take out a new loan with us! You can use it on lots of frivolous spends that we have kindly listed for you here. We will pay off your paltry balance with your new loan and then take a fixed sum every month for a long long time. Oh just one little thing, you must borrow at least £1k more than you owe us, and to take advantage of our fabulous (in our eyes) rate you must borrow at least £7.5k!! (yes we realise this is way more than the £1k minimum we have mentioned in big writing in the letter, and to only borrow this £1k you'll be charged extortionate interest, but we are hoping you wont notice this)
I have filed it in the appropriate recepticle
I know exactly what you mean. Since I started paying my 2 credit cards off, within a week of each other I've had letters from B@rclaycard and V@nquis bank offering me credit builder cards. I've shredded them both. It made me really angry as its exactly how the H@lifax caught me out years ago when I was not as wise as I am now :mad:0 -
