Ok i'm confused. I don't know whether to pay BNPL & catalogue first to stop interest being added or make a bigger CC payment to get that down?

CC is at £700(ish) and interest about £13 a month, I pay £25-30 off a month at the moment because thats all I can afford to.

If I pay CC im obviously saving on interest being added monthly and reducing my debt, but if I pay BNPL (its due in april) i'm saving on a year worth of interest being added.
I'm hoping to reduce my CC limit as I pay it off, so paying it off CC to save interest for a couple of months and using that to pay BNPL isn't an option.
I can't guarantee im going to have money to pay the lump sum on catalogue at the time. And then which do I pay more off each month? CC or catalogue in general? Argh! :D

Which do I pay first? I'm thinking BNPL but I'm not sure, because a chunk off my CC would reduce interest and give me more free cash to pay off debts rather than interest. BNPL+ interest can be spread over 12 months at the end of the BNPL period anyway but that almost doubles the cost of the items I have left to pay.

    Help! :rotfl:

Hi xoxo, I'd work out which one will charge you the most interest over a year, then pay that one :) the less money you pay in interest, the more you can pay towards debt reduction. Not sure if that makes things any clearer for you. x

I'm seriously going to sit at the bar and drink myself stupid as family get-togethers are always really stressful as my younger sisters don't like my older sister and my dad doesn't like my grandma... I feel like the bl00dy UN sometimes!

I did laugh at that .... but only because I feel your pain. Maybe you could insist they all sign some form of birthday peace treaty before entrance into the celebration establishment :)

We crashed our car in the bad weather on the M1 on Saturday - we were both ok (which is the main thing!) but now we have been told the car is a write-off (which we kind of expected looking at the state of it :(

Oh my god  glad you're OK which is the main thing and hope you're not too badly shaken.
  • Goodness me KS2008, glad you are ok!!

I am so excited today. We got our envirophone payment for my husbands old iphone which has been transferred straight to my credit card.
