Blimey I completely missed all the Blind Date stuff going on last night while I was ironing! Seen as I'm getting married in just over 37 weeks though I don't think it matters too much :rotfl:
This afternoon I am going to look into Zapper - never heard of it before everyone on here started saying how much they were getting for sending stuff off, so will sort that as soon as the cat gets off my shins and I can move again! :cool:0 -

I've tried them recently (sample from inasoapnutshell) and think they are good. Not sure I would use them on more heavily soiled items but good for day-to-day stuff and towels, etc.:jDebt Free By Xmas 2013 #010 £16,660.26/£16,660.26 100% paid, DFD 25/06/13!:j0 -
Great, after a week full of meetings I now have one tomorrow morning and another one on Friday morning at 8am just before my usual 3hour meeting with our customer! Think I will be having a drink on Friday!!!
Someone please please please give me a kick up the rear to get back on the treadmill tonight, or do Pilates. Not really fussed which but I lost my motivation a few weeks ago so it's doubly hard to get going again...New Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

I thought I'd get in on the mugshot action. And I agree, it is a very nice pic, Jem!
I'm off on holiday for a week from tomorrow, but while I'm away a few payments are coming out. I won't be making any overpayments this month, but I'll still be less in debt at the end of it. Slow progress, February is where it all kicks off again0 -

The Frugal Living Challenge might fit the bill - it's about pretty much every expense that you can realistically control, so includes insurances, groceries, gifts, etc. but I think generally people customise what is/isn't included and their budgets to suit their own preferences/circumstances. Sorry I don't have a link but I hope that might help

After two years of fighting the school and pleading for help they are still dragging their heels with the usual excuses 'we don't like to label' 'boys are slower' etc etc. So after another night of him crying that he is stupid and why is he still on baby books etc etc, I have booked him to see a specialist.
Sorry little rant there, it just slipped out.
I am dyslexic and wasn't diagnosed till last year, AT 34!!!!!! Its terrible that you are having to pay for it yourself but if it means that your son will get the support he needs it will be money well spent. If only for his self esteem. It made me realise that a lot of my 'quirks' are dyslexia related and that made me feel much better.
Have you contacted your Education Auth or have you just been through the school?Trying hard...failing miserably
