I am looking for advice though, I have included all my debt including my OD but I do tend to go the bank and be tempted to use up to the limit. I have decided that I will budget to leave some money in the bank to start clearing this, my question is will the bank reduce this monthly for me? Or should I keep it there incase of emergencies?

The only way I started viewing my OD as real debt was to change bank accounts and have no OD on the new account. I always viewed whatever was left of the od as my money... and was never going to pay it off!

If you think you can be strict, then yes I'd ring up each month and reduce it by £50 or so. You have said yourself you are tempted so take the temptation away. What sort of emergency are you thinking of? I have a savings account for petrol, one for car tax/mot/insurance and one for spends.

ETA: I'm female but with a male name so when I went off to Littlehampton for the DIY SOS thing (Guy off MSE if you haven't heard about it) they were all so confused when I turned up... especially as I'm only 26 too!

I'm only allowed to reduce my OD once every 6 months :(
Think I might save up the amount and pay it all off in one go then cancel :) Other debts to pay off first though.
psycho I can only read your name as "psychobubblebath" now ever since someone else said that's what they thought it was *snigger*
No payments yet for me, but I might get antsy later and decide to pay another £10

Does anyone know what an Avatar is on here? Also, if I look at MSE on my mum's laptop then I can see pictures under people's usernames but I can't see them on either of my work laptops or my personal laptop!

On another forum for Latitude Festival... someone once misread it as psychoPOTbabbl and thought I'd have pot on me for them to have some of!

ETA: We went out for dinner on Monday to a Greene King pub and I got a couple of vouchers off their website for 2 free drinks when you buy 2 main meals. The vouchers didn't print properly (not my printers fault) and the pub refused even when we showed them on my phone where it said 2 free drinks... the manager refused a second drink. Should I put a complaint in to head office?

Just paid £12.59 to the cc so time for an update I think :)

An avatar is the picture under the username :p You can update it under your user profile settings :) I have a cartoonised picture of myself as mine :)

Question: I owe OH £100 he lent me for postage. I have £75 in my a/c now, £27 going in tomorrow, and £76 going in from my sister on friday. Do I pay another £10 to freemans today, tomorrow and friday, or do I wait until friday and then pay £30?
