Odd! Have you tried the NHS online thingy? But at least you can choose what to taste... nice foods down one side, horrible but healthy foods (celery!) down the other

nothing wrong with celery! i just ate chocolate and it made me feel sick.... so something clearly isn't right!

I get this when my gum is playing up. Metallic taste could be blood coming from your gum, have you had a prod with a finger? If I've had a hot drink I get this sensation from time to time.

Nothing hurts can't see any blood... it's the same side as my ear so I'm hoping it's to do with that. But making chocolate and alcohol taste nasty is just plain mean!

ETA: If anyone wants friends on the ole FB let me know I'm a nosy beggar!

Pyschopathbabble - it's not a loose filling is it? DH had a metallic taste and it was his fillling wasting away!

that is what someone else said :eek: i have the implant so i bloomin hope not! nope not tonsilitus, it doesn't hurt just feels very very strange. Just went on NHS direct website and it said to call them... it's not urgent so I'll maybe talk to a chemist tomorrow or something.
