Yaaay! :j Glad it went well, you sound so much more cheery and optimistic about things.

Rubysewsew - What a lovely message! So helpful!

As for low fat things, when I lived alone I loved a good [STRIKE]bowl of cereal [/STRIKE]omelette! So quick and easy and filling with a salad too. I used to like courgette, pea and mint. Yum!

What about a baked potato? You could put it in the oven on low early and once Roo is in bed, warm some beans and you're well away!

Can you tell I don't cook in my house! Ha! Lots of easy simple things.

Batch cooking is also a good idea! Especially with Roo, if he's kept you busy all day and you're shattered you can just nuke something!

I agree lovely message from Rubysewsew.

Not to keep going on about it but please make sure you are eating enough stuff with fat in when you are breastfeeding, helps the babies grow. I obviously mean good fats but don't starve yourself as you and roo both need the energy. Nothing wrong with eating healthilly though and sounds like you are doing good.

oh ruby, bless you, thak you o much for the lovely message, made me well up again :)

now to answer all your questions :) right, no I haven't been to the drs about him spitting up as its not all the time.

no i dont feed laying down, wouldn't know where to start to be honest.

He doesnt sleep too much during the day, maybe a couple of hours split up into half hours. Apart from the last 2 days hes usually really smiley and happy after a feed for a while and will sit quite contentedly., so i dont really get chance to nap during the day as it takes me quite a while to switch off!!

I love your Drs advice, I have already decided saturday is my slobby day :) I love my pjs, they've got cupcakes on them :)

No I havent seen an osteopath, should I? I had a really quick birth went from 3cm to giving birth in a couple of hours, established labour was 45mins! all pretty straight forward.

a diary is a good idea, might see if i have one.

Bless you again for being so lovely. I do so wish we all lived closer and that we could all have an afternoon of tea and cake :)

loumac your cooking sounds just like mine lol

wendz im a bit nieve when it comes to food. what would be good fats? Does anyoe know of a website that gives a good breastfeeding diet to keep you healthy rather than lose weight, think thats going to come from feeding so much anyway!

thank you so much again you lovely lovely people for taking the time to help and encourage me :) you really are :A

Roo sounds a bit like Poppy when she was a newborn, she wouldn't sleep much during the day either.

I would say good fats are things like nuts, dairy etc. Found this on the nhs website which might help http://www.nhs.uk/Planners/breastfeeding/Pages/breastfeeding-diet.aspx . I can't really preach as i just ate a load of rubbish when she was first born lol.
