Oh bells! How awful for you, I feel for you I really do, I've been there and I was so upset! Bless you, and huge hugs especially the jabs too :(

Well the group went ok, it is rather clicky and roo was the youngest there, but three of the mums from yesterday were there which was good, so sat and chatted to them, one in particular is lovely. Am going on buggy walk on monday as one of the other mums is going, so it was good really.

am starving! Now what to have for lunch......

Bella2121 - your morning sound horrible :( I hope you are feeling much better now.

(((HUGS))) for Bella, that sounds so stressful! :( My dad taught me how to drive on the motorway and 12 years of driving later I'm still not a huge fan, especially in the dark.

Missy - I usually have 2 weetabix for brekkie, means no measuring out and I can add some fruit to it if I want. You can also choose from things like:

    35g All bran
    35g Fruit and fibre
    35g bitesize shredded wheat
    30g luxury muesli

Not what I'd call exciting cereals! :rotfl:

That sounds good and nice you had some people to chat to. Buggy walk will be great for a chat and getting exercise at the sametime. We had some new mums at under 1's this afternoon and made a special effort to make them feel welcome as thought of you!

Sorry to hear about your morning Bella! Does sound very stresful, hope the rest of the day has been better.

Sorry to hear that HV wasn't any help. Are there any groups locally you can speak to or perhaps mention it to another mummy?

Sorry not much help, obviously not been through it. Could it be a growth spurt? Hang on in there lovely xxx

Just saw your thread on the parenting board and looks like you have been given some great advise. Hopefully the helplines will be more helpful than your hv!

My sister is about to start training as a health visitor and I tell her all these stories to remind her to be a better one.

Her daughter also has reflux, and it sounds as though Roo may be the same. However, it took the doctor ages to diagnose and having just turned one she has only just come of the medication used to help it.

I think it might also be worth trying a dummy to sooth the sucking. Especially if you already express and occasionally bottle feed, it shouldn't affect his bfeeding. Sadie visibly relaxes with a dummy. Plus I think it's better to have a dummy than suck their thumb as you can always wean them off a dummy. My friend is 30 and still sucks her thumb when tired!! No lie!!
