Big hugs to you and roo....know it doesn't mean much but if I lived nearer then i'd have been round for a cuppa as it's my day off
However, it'll have to be a virtual trip instead.
The baby groups will be really good for you and i'm sure there are other Mums in the same position, be brave and go. xx0 -

Keep your chin up hun, agree with everyone else that baby groups will definitely help to meet people near by in same situation as you!
Wish I was closer, being off on maternity too means we could have a proper natter.
As for Roo, he'll probably be a bit grizzly, I know Sadie was. Try and rest when he's sleeping and get some sleep yourself so build your strength back up.

hey maria, my OH is in the oil industry so works away for weeks at a time. i was in the RAF for years so travelled around alot, so when i started work in the area i didn't really know anyone. I work half an hour away now, and do have a couple of friends, but they're teachers, single, and unfortunately I don't really have much in common with them at the moment. I live in Norfolk.
Really struggling feeding roo, he still keeps coming off and screaming and is then sick, then wants feeding, then when hes done that for an hour he carries on screaming, hes having really runny poos too
hes asleep now but i know hes going to scream when he wakes up, really dont think im in for a good night. it took me all morning to get a shower which i finally managed at 1 o clock, really worried about having to be up out and dressed by 9.30 tomorrow..... 0
