Choc-addict wrote: »Afternoon! Come on ladies, join me in my weird moment of madness and spring (winter) clean....not quite sure what is going on but i'm on a mission. So far conservatory, lounge and kitchen have been done - all the windows are open and i'm now onto the cupboard under the stairs...wonder what I will find in there?!
Think the copious amounts of coffee, choc and diet coke have sent me a little jittery towards the housework, lol!!! Not so good on the diet front but fab news for our house!
Well done on the cross trainer Missy - I wish I had something at home so I could do it watching the soaps or something like that. Bet Roo looked so cute with the cuddle dog thing - bless. I visited my friend last night, she has two little boys - made me even more broody....I can't wait to have a little one. I know you just never know whats going to happen until you start trying ( I really hate that term by the way!) but I can't help but get excited thinking about it....I really can't. Did anyone else feel like that or am I just the weirdo of this group who gets a kick from caffeine and thinks about having a little one??!!!! :-)
Anyhow, off to the cupboard under stairs. Have a good afternoon xx
wow get you choc! wish i could have a caffeine high!! mind you when i used to eat chocolate ad drink coffee i never used to clean!!
as for your broodiness, i was exactly the same! i was so excited when we decided to "start trying",
Well i gave up my gym membership as i couldnt afford it, which in truth im gutted about, but i would barely have been able to use it. So weve got a huge gym sized cross trainer for me to go on and when OH is back ill go running in the morning.
I've got bits and pieces done, but got a little bit distracted watching a film! I have, unloaded and loaded the dishwasher, washed up, wiped the worktop, tidied up a bit and took a couple more xmas bits upstairs. Going to see what i can get done later when i haven't got roo in his sling as he's a bit of a hinderance!
hmmmm roo has taken to stopping feeding half way through and then being sick, crying and then want feeding again...... do you think its because hes gulping when he first latches on? hes not so sick afterwards though, like he used to be....0 -
ok managed to get some ironing done, and tidy up a bit, just feeding roo, im going to make dinner in sec, found this bacon and sausage fritatta recipe so thought id try it
, espec as its on slimming world so its low fat too. What have you all been up to today? 0 -
That sounds yummy! I've finished my spring clean, although left some of the paper work etc in spare room and just couldn't find the motivation for such a mammoth pile. I shall do that tomorrow.
Now just sitting down with drink and starting to write wedding invites to take to post office tomorrow

As for being broody - I was totally the same. As for "starting trying", we were really excited and I caught in the first month. My OH was gutted! Lol!

I can't comment today as have dabbled in a bit of chocolate myself today. Naughty naughty!
The invites are pocket fold - so imagine and envelope opening out the main invite is on the back middle square and inserts inside the bottom. We've kept them very simple just green and white with some little pearl hearts on them. Thats the theme of wedding, simple and natural...flowers etc are all ivory/white/green. I went to church today (church we are marrying in) it all feels very real now - eek!Well done choc-addict, what an amazingly productive day!

Blimey you don't wait about, lol!! Bet your OH was miffed. My OH is so cute at the minute, every time we see people with little ones in street he says something like "aww, I want one"....I then have to remind him that they aren't always like that and more to the point that he can't just pick one up in the supermarket!! He speaks as though he can just go and get one, weirdo!Hehe

morning all

Hope you and roo slept ok missy!
What a productive day you had choc-addict! felt really tired this mornin but am slowly coming round and hoping to get something productive done today
I feel so much better when I feel I have actually done something, if that makes sense, as opposed to just the general day to day stuff.
I have listed a cardigan on ebay and have a little jacket to do today, also might sort through the mountain of baby clothes and dig out the designer stuff to put on as they seem to do quite well.
Right im off for the school run be back later with an idea of what im gonna do today
have a nice day all

Morning, sorry for not replying last night was trying to get Roo to go to sleep!
Didn't have a very good night though, he was awake a lot of it, feeding every two hours then crying!!! so consequently I have drunk copious cups of coffee and eaten lots of biscuits this morning, whoooops.
Weigh in day, have lost 2lbs! Which isn't great and could have been better but i suppose it is better than nothing, mind you I'm suprised I lost any with the amount of rubbish i keep eating
but I guess thats breastfeeding for you, will try and be better this week, I have been better with my fruit and veg intake though, which is a plus point, will go to sainsburys today and see if I can get some more.
well I have to go get my postnatal check done today and roo has to have his injections
really dont want him to be sad and cry when he has them, will feel like such a cruel mummy, think of me at 2.15.
Didnt ebay yesterday, but am going to go through my huge ebay pile and see what would be better to give to the charity shop, so will do that later.
to do list today
bath baby
shower and wash hair (me)
white wash
could do with going to sainsburys
tidy kitchen again!
load dishwasher
go through ebay stuff
go to doctors
send birthday card
send off OU paperwork
well thats definitely enough to keep me going! Really can't be bothered and really don't want to get out of bed, it's chilly!0
