thanks loumac hun
I know what you mean, I always worry about people, I can't help it!
I love the fact I can chat to people, friends, on here about everything and anything and no one judges, but just offers advice, support or enthusiasm. Thanks guys, I wish I could gather you all up and give you all the biggest hug
The health visitor is generally pleased, he's put on 11ozs in 2 weeks so not great but ok. He's got really dry skin though so I need to put e45 on him, bless him. I have to go to the clinics now, really don't want to go, far too many people, although there is an under ones group which is on next wednesday that shes said is good to meet other mums as its not a huge group but they can be quite clicky
oh on the trying deodorants and shampoos, the tesco deodorant is a no go, 24 hour protection my ar$£! really don't rate it, obviously that is just my opinion! but on a better note the tresseme I really liked
so i will go back to the dove or vaseline deodorants when they're on offer.
Been trying to take the Christmas decs down, it just takes ages doesn't it!?
Wish all you lovely ladies lived closer so that we could all meet up and have a cuppa.

Glad the hv went ok. Putting on 11 oz in 2 weeks sounds pretty good to me. How much does he weigh now?
I go to an under 1's group and is great. Is worth giving a go, might be other mums feeling same as you. If their babies are only young like yours then they won't be clicky.
Where abouts do you live out of interest?0 -
he's 9lb 11 hun, and i live norfolk way, which seem to be the back end of nowhere!0

Sounds like he is doing well. Don't worry if he doesn't put a lot on one time as next time might put on more.
I am down in Hertfordshire. Is a shame we can't all live closer!0 -
it is a massive shame we don't all live closer wendz
. he put on 11oz in a week last time, but im not too worried.
apparantly im not eating properly, i know that, but cooking for myself is just not very appealing......0 -
Hey missy!
Roo sounds like hes doing fab!!! I think they're happy as long as baby putting weight they tend to have times where they have a gowth spurt then other times dont put on much at all
Hope your dads feeling better soon.
My LO had horrendous dry skin he looked like a snake shedding its skin lol I always put baby oil in the bath water then give him a nice massage with more baby oil when hes dry it seemed to work
BOOOOOOOOOOOOO to the unsupportive friends! like everyone else as said you can always come on here we will always be more than enthusiastic for you
When I had DS1 I met a few friends on bounty forums we used to go out for lunch and to play centres, I dont see them alot now but it was nice at the time, its worth a try just have a go at the baby groups you never know you might like it and if you dont then just dont go again
Ive been to see a specialist midwife and Physio today cause I had a 3rd degree tear having baby, it was a bit of a pain had to travel to another town but everythings good so dont have to go again, she just told me to keep doing my pelvic floor exercises! EEK I hardly ever do them, gonna make an effort from now on though

hey bells, I guess I will try it next week and see what happens, if its too clicky or uncomfortable i'll just not go again, its literally 2 mins walk, so no hardship.

Sorry to hear you've had down day:(
Hope your dad feels better soon,i hate doctors that just fob you off. Is there a walkin centre near by that he could go to for a 2nd opinion? I have a friend with an 8 week old baby who went to the 4 different doctors 9 times before her baby was admitted to hospital and it was very touch and go for the baby, lucky she wasnt a first time mum and knew something was up and didnt back down.
My LO had very dry flakey skin also, i was told from HV for massage olive oil into his skin instead of baby oil..not sure why but it did work.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750
