hi maccahallam, nice to see you.

Well i managed to get the car fixed and pay £5 into the bank so i dont go over my overdraft.

Didn't have the best of nights last night, roo was awake every 2 hours! could really do with a nap today! only got 4hrs sleep :(

HV is coming at 11, really need to tidy up by then.

    so to do list:

    tidy up
    load dishwasher
    change roos bed
    washing
    put other washing away
    paperwork
    start taking decorations down!

so very sleepy, i think coffee is needed. Feeling a bit rubbish today, a few things really, one of them being i've told a couple of friends about not going back to work and starting my own business, but they couldnt have been less interested or supportive, as if saying it'll never pay the bills or that my cakes aren't good enough :( made me feel really rubbish, another thing my dad isnt very well, nothing major, but enough to actually bring him to tears with the pain, and the dr just fobbed him off and said come back in a month, but my dad is too soft to go back and kick off and demand to be seen again like i would, the last dr didnt even look at him!!! sorry for whinging, just one of those days i guess x

Don't be silly, Missy, I'm sure your cakes are good. Maybe your friends have other things to worry than you setting up your business, or maybe they will be interested once you have already started the business. It's a funny thing-having friends and talk about business- I find that my friends are "not with me" when I talk about it, they don't want to hear anything regarding money issues. Which is fine with me though it would be nice sometimes to tell them what bothers me, etc. You will be fine, don't worry.

And if you are really not sure about your cakes, I'm willing to receive some samples and provide honest feedback:).

thanks for the offer kavics, i may well take you up on that :). I guess me setting up a business isnt anywhere near as exciting for someone else as it is me. Its just if a friend told me they were setting up business i would be excited and enthusiastic for them, and help in any way i could.....

ok, so i have put a wash on, tidied up, put the dishwasher on, had a shower, got dressed and bathed baby, just waiting fir the health visitor now.

Sorry to hear your friends weren't too enthusiastic re you starting your business. If it helps i'm envious and can't wait to hear all your plans and forthcoming successes! Like Kavics...happy to be a taster ;)

Why not write all your plans and thoughts on here....we'll be sure to be excited and join in :D

Hope you have a good rest of the day x

    ((Hugs)) for a down day!

Hope your dad feels better soon, funny how as you get older you start to worry about them more than they worry about you!

As for the business idea, I think it sounds great and along with everyone else am happy to taste. :p

It's funny how there are certain things that 'real' friends don't get but on here you get so much more support. I can't discuss money and debts with anyone but on here I open up about everything!!

    Was HV happy with Roo?
