    I'm 44:o

Am I too old for them:rotfl:
Same age as me! :D No you're not too old, as long as you look good and you're happy in them you're never too old. It's just me, I hate that feeling of a waistband round my hips it makes me feel like they've slipped down and I've got to pull them up, I like them higher.

I've been slimming back into things & one of the pairs of jeans had a high waist & I hate them, they fit, but I won't wear them.
I don't like them super lo:eek: Heaven forbid, but med low, just low enough to be "modern";)

I hate my high waisted jeans too, they look ok but I feel a frump, I love low waisted but they don't love me giving me a muffin top that I don't really have, I'm 43 btw and a size 8/10, as for bras if you are below a D cup I would recommend a Genie bra, not the most attractive of garments but still the best bra I have ever worn:)
Thank you for this site Martin

I like balcony bras that hoist them up to heaven:D
  • Jeans do my head in! I'm a size 12, but I'm quite a "straight up and down" figure, I'm not curvy, so a lot of the jeans either don't fit me or look any good.

I like H&M Slim for skinny jeans - especially good for people between sizes as they go up in 1 inch waist sizes not 2 like most other stores. I have inflammatory bowel disease, and frequently suffer from bloating, so I cannot do low waisted jeans at all. I have pairs in different sizes for my good and bad days!

Personal loan £4000 - paid off early June 2013
Credit card debt of £400 remaining - nearly there!
  • I live in these

    and

    http://www.simplybe.co.uk/shop/product/details/show.action?pdLpUid=MB267&pdBoUid=5226&lpgUid=

the 2nd only start in a 14 tho

Although i dont like high wasted jeans 2 children in less than 2 years means they are my best friends ATM! They really 'suck' you in..so high jeans = no tummy in my case..so until the gym starts to pay off iwill continue to live in them:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I bought some in America and they're Levis Perfectly Slimming bootcut jean and I have to say they're the comfiest most flattering jeans I've ever owned. They fit on the waist so don't give a muffin top, they feel stretchy and soft and they really do 'slim' my appearance. They were only $10 over there too - absolute bargain but I want more colours now and I'm a few thousand miles away :-) I did buy another pair that are similar too and they are made by Lee Classic Fit bootcut and they're almost as good. Both were petite too and fit perfectly on length - something I've never ever managed to find in this country, usually the petites are still too long.

On the bras discussion, I agree with MrsE above, Panache, Freya and Fantasie all the way - and if you can pick up a Fauve by Fantasie (previous Rigby & Peller) cheaply online, they're just beautiful as well as a perfect fit.

You can buy them on ebay, I've been looking & they do a low rise version too, which is I think not a very low rise, so perfect for me:D
Whats the cut/fit like? I'm wondering about sizing to order.

I'm between a 10 and 12 uk size - the size I've got from the US is 8P. I think the general concensus when ordering US sizes is to go a size lower than you would normally wear in this country. Off to look now and see if I can pick up another pair :-)
