  • I thought I would throw my two cents in.

The jeans that I love at the moment are Uniqlo, I find that they stay in shape, even when you haven't washed them for a few days. They are extremely long, but the last time I bought a pair, they altered the hem free of charge.

I also like New Look skinny jeans, but found that they don't keep that shape, and after a few hours of wearing them, i look like I have a saggy bum :rotfl::rotfl:

I am size 12 I have quite large hips compared to the rest of my body, with a bit of weight of around my stomach, so I often find that when jeans fit around my hips, they are extremely baggy around my bum area, but uniqlo fits quite well all over.

God I hate buying jeans. My legs are only 29 inches and my waist is small so for those parts of my I need a size 6, but my thighs and my bum are more like a size 10-12 (I am a classic pear shape). I have to look in the petite section and end up buying 10s as a compromise, but they never every fit me round the waist, or I buy 8s that fit me round the waist but are too tight on the thighs and bum.

I've found Topshop are really good because you can choose your leg length, so I can buy 30s, and they also do different waist sizes. But generally speaking I avoid buying them like the plague...

Another vote for H&M - they have have regular voucher offers and deals running and their jeans are good quality, fit me well and are very comfortable. Definitely worth it for me. I've not found their website that difficult and with my account I can order and return items without having to pay for them and then wait for my money to be refunded.

  • I love Gap Sexy Boot, they are quite tight fitting on the leg and only flare out a little on the bottom of the leg.

I would love a pair of Not Your Daughter`s Jeans.....

I will reward myself with a pair of these when I lose weight ( need to lose 4 stone before I could entertain these tbh)

I don't think there is such a thing as the perfect pair of jeans.......think about it, we are all different shapes and sizes. NYDJ's jeans are my favourites, but I am 5.10" & size12/14 & I know they fit me perfectly without even having to try them on, but I can try on another make, same size, & they just don't fit & it is quite demoralising. It all boils down to body type/shape/height. Everyone is different & it is just a case of finding out which brand suits you best.

I just wish I could find a good fit in a cheaper brand :rotfl:

They look nice but I wish they were cut higher up the waist, I'm in my 40s and just can't get away with a low rise anymore, they either give me a muffin top or I feel like I should be pulling them up all the time. :o
