  • Good morning all!

Rachel - glad your Mum is ok - sounds like she is definately in the right place. Take care of yourself.:grouphug:

Misslr - commiserations on the handbag incident - but well done on resisting the in-flight drinks!:T

Peterbunny - congratulations on being able to buy out your ex. lets hope this helps to put things on a more even keel for you.

    Bearacus - SNC completed!:T

Shaggy - please could my target for February be 20? Want to try and get things back under control so think a monthly challenge should help :)P.s Loving the penguin picture this morning (will show Piglet later as he's mad on penguins at the moment as he's in "Penguin" class!:D)

Well the funerals went as well as could be expected. Our friends one was a bit overwhelming - approx 300 people turned up at the crematorium which holds about 50!:eek:We managed to get squahed in at the back but there were an awful lot of people left outside. He was a very popular man and there were a lot of upset people. My Aunts funeral was much more composed. I hadn't had a lot to drink during the day so was very dehydrated by the time we got to the wake and headed straight for gallons of orange juice and lemonade rather than the wine I would normally have ordered!:T It was lovely to catch up with that side of the family, despite the circumstances.

Todays Friday which, in my head, is a day to drink. Not sure if I will or not tonight. Will see how I feel later. Have the day off today so have plans on tidying the house and then going for a nice walk in the sunshine.

    Have goods fridays all

    Miss P
    xx

Hi all. Have had a hectic week so have not had the time to even think about drink let alone drink it! Finished the month on 17 afds which is on target. Going to have a couple of glasses of wine this evening and then am skiing for a week so won't be af realistically-but will not be partying madly anymore! Too old and tired for that!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
