• another AF day for me please Shaggy!

i had a few drinks saturday night but DH got wasted and was horrifically hungover the day after so put him off for sunday night so had no pressure on me being AF.
• Hellooooo everyone *waves*
I have returned from Nottingham and my work training weekend. I wasnt AF but on Friday I had 2 glasses of wine, then on Saturday a bit more and I woke up Sunday morning, ooked at my colleague I was sharing a room with and said "Thank God we're going home today, so I dont feel obligated to drink!" ALso I found for the first time EVER the anxiety that drinking usually (pretends) to take away that night was way worse as I was trying to get to sleep! poundy heart, anxiety thoughts etc. Usually that waits til 5am or the next day. Was quite scary! I then got home and realised this morning it hadnt even entered my mind to have a drink when I got in! SO I was AF yesterday :) am more than happy to be AF this week so 3 for the SNC please- hopefully 4 but a margin for error there ;)
What has happened? Ive always been a drinker. is it age? or am I just sick to the back teeth of living half a life cos Im always slightly fuzzy and hungover??? I LOVE this new feling of control

That's my favourite bit idris, and the money saved and the calories saved and the feeling of smugness and the lack of hangovers and not looking like a bag lady and..........:rotfl:

Hi everyone
12 AF please Shaggy
Had a glass of wine with Sunday roast and then had another small glass in the eve, so very moderate drinking for me. No alcohol for me today. Im off on holiday all week and usually this is a trigger point for me to drink every eve, but im going to try and treat it like a normal week and resist the temptation. A day at a time.

Hope your mum doing ok Bearacus x

Peterbunny ~ i made those potatoes for first time on sun, delish. I have a mandolin on order from amazon, hope you are heeding the warnings about keeping your fingers far away from the slicer:eek:

I'm calling in really early tonight. I'm off out to my dancing class and am looking forward to my mug of tea when I get back. I@m really proud of myself, time was I could never call in until I was on my way to bed!

Have a good evening all, hope the bells are quiet for you all and anyway a hot drink is probably much better with the weather the way it is!

8AFDs for January and 1 for the SNC please.
