23/31 AF for me.
Sitting here sober as a judge drinking ginger beer while OH is drinking glass after glass of red wine. Its amazing how you notice just how much someone else is drinking when you are not drinking yourself!!!
Off to polish my halo now.......... :-)Debt Free Date: November 20170 -
24 af for me and 26 in total! I had a funny day today. Felt a bit down. Didn't help that one of the Mummy's was a bit mean today. I'm starting to dread the pick ups from school. It seems to turn some people into imature a$$holes. X2022 Comp total (prizes + free spins): £494.81 #20 £12 a day Jan: £382.95/£372 #57 360 1p challenge: £17.70 £10 a day Feb: £571.09/£280 March: £311.96/£3100

It is funny to be sober and see others getting tipsy, then again it makes me think of how I must have been
BTW, seeing your username has just made me crave so much for chocolate, dammit! :rotfl:0 -

Don't worry, she will have forgotten tomorrow - people like that have very short memories! I really did not enjoy the school pick-ups, I wasn't a member of a mummy-clique, and never knew who to try to talk to!It was such a relief when my DDs could walk to and from school on their own!
DD1 is travelling in Oz and NZ at the moment - studying in Oz as part of her uni course, but on 'summer holidays' at the moment. She's been bungee jumping and abseiling and sky diving :eek: DD2 just started at uni too - and tells me she now has a boyfriend - already :eek: DD3 stressing about all her AS homework :eek:0 -

AF - 24/31
Really stressing out over things at work, just can't seem to see things straight for some reason. The atmosphere is really not good at the moment. Determined not to succumb to the dreaded wine though. Out on Saturday night but said I will pick my daughter up from work at 12.30pm so I will be AF.
busy weekend planned sorting daughters room out, got a few things on eBay, and when I get my iPhone, I am going to put my iPod on, don't need both, should get about £90 for it. Shouldn't be too far away from getting her wardrobe when that is sold.
I haven't joined in the school night challenges because I want to be AF every day at the moment, I might join in if that s ok, next month or in March.
Tomorrow is I new day, stay strong everyone
JulieI had to replace my car, I got a tesco interest free cc with 18 months interest free period
£5600 with 18 months to pay it.0 -
24/22 AF for me. I'm polishing my halo, 'cos I had to hold DH's pint of beer while he went to the loo during the concert interval and I didn't even take a sip. Previously I'd have had a quarter of it!
Heads full of lovely music now, so I'm off to bed. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Hi everyone, sorry been missing due to the flu
anyway I haven't had a drink all month so that's 24 AFD the only problem is it's my birthday tomorrow and I am really undecided whether I want a drink, we have some Guinness here so I may just have some of that. I just worry that if I buy vodka it will start me off drinking regularly again and I'm not really missing it atm.
I didn't know how to celebrate without alcohol. It was so entwined with my society and culture that the thought of a birthday, wedding, celebration, etc was unthinkable.
The link between celebration and alcohol is not there for me today, but it took a long time to go.
Happy b'day0 -

Morning :hello:
1 more AFD please mackeroo.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
