Rachel sending you a big hug. How did last night go?What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0

Tracy, I've found the fasts easier if the preceeding days have been quite low carb, but it is comletely bearable isn't it. I seem to have quite naturally fallen into a 16:8 fast pattern too, doing an exercise class first thing and then having a late breakfast/early lunch.
No more AD dats here as I had a glass of wine with dinner last night which unfortunately stretched to 3 and gave me a thick head this morning :-(Trying to keep in budget.

rachelww1 - good luck with the hypnotherapy, you will have to keep us updated. I still haven't cried for my Dad, and it is coming up to his 3 year anniversary - I did try, with the help of counselling, but I guess you are either a crier or not, IYKWIM

I was doing really well last week. I gave 1litre of Baileys to my neighbour but proceeded to nearly drink the other 3 litres. I justified this by telling myself that the bbe date sept 2012 so i had to drink it all up. I really enjoyed it but the morning afters were terrible, I don't know what my af days were I know I didn't drink yesterday so that is one, but did drink night before. i been on bingo site that's why I can't remember.

9/20 for me so far. Struggling to arrange a birthday meet-up with my sister, mum and son who all have October birthdays. Haven't managed to coordinate all three, so feeling frustrated (again) that family who live 170 miles away don't get that I drive up every 4/5 weeks which incurs both a hefty fuel cost and is pretty exhausting. Am I unrealistic??? I'm tempted to give November's visit a miss, but I'm the one who gets "homesick" to see them. Sorry for the whinge. I'm glad there's no wine in the house, or I'd be very very tempted. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

Had a stressful day and decided to 'reward' myself with wine. Not an excessive amount but a habit I'd hoped was gone. I know that behind it is the fact that I'm under my weight target and 'need' to put on a pound or two this week. It may sound ridiculous but as I've always been mainy motivated by calories and that seems to be the way my mind works. I'm sure if I'd needed to lose weight I wouldn't have done it.
I can explain it logically and I'm in control but cross with myself for taking that option.
Thanks for listening to my ramble. I'll be back on the wagon soon I'm sure.0 -
