Oh that is a problem I would love to have :D:D:D:D
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
  • Good morning all, just a quick pop in to say 1AFD to add for me please making 6/15.
Going to see if I can manage another Thursday post shopping evening without wine like I did last week.

Had a stressful day and decided to 'reward' myself with wine. Not an excessive amount but a habit I'd hoped was gone. I know that behind it is the fact that I'm under my weight target and 'need' to put on a pound or two this week. It may sound ridiculous but as I've always been mainy motivated by calories and that seems to be the way my mind works. I'm sure if I'd needed to lose weight I wouldn't have done it.

I can explain it logically and I'm in control but cross with myself for taking that option.

Thanks for listening to my ramble. I'll be back on the wagon soon I'm sure.

I know you've tried so hard and come so far - just look at what you've written 'not an excessive amount' that's so positive.

Don't give yourself a hard time - you're only human and we all have moments......

Sorry I got a bit awol in August/Sept as moved home etc.

    Anyways I'm back!

Can I join in for this month? I'm already on 4 of a 'self' target of 21 - I hope that's OK?

Thanks alot and I hope you're all OK.

I was determined to get an AF night in tonight.

Won't be AF for a few days as I'm off to a wedding this weekend but I know I won't be embarassing myself as I used to back in the day.:o

5 AFDs for October please Shaggy.

10/20 so far, but the evil temptation worm is wriggling round my brain.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Well I didn't manage an AF evening after shopping yesterday, but I didn't have too much (which we sometimes do!)
My weekends are rarely alcohol free but I will endeavour to not drink too much.
I love this forum. It really helps!
    Happy weekend everyone.

Not an AF day for me today. MLH trundles off T*sco and buys beer for himself, and a bottle of red and a bottle of white for me. Well, it would have been rude not to sample one of them. So, 3 glasses later..... Hey, that's good - I didn't drink the whole bottle!

Today is date that I had my last alcoholic drink eaxctly one year ago, to celebrate my 45th birthday.

Today, I am celebrating at home with a 12" Asda thin crust meat feast pizza and some pepsi max !

I sure now how to party dont I ? (I will also be DF on 2/12/2012 !) so I may REALLY celebrate by having a cake as well ! )

(My family arent avoiding me as my dad is on holiday and my brother & sister live miles away fro me, but they have sent me cards and I have spoken to them already).
