    EVERYONE WELCOME
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Well done mari on your AF meal out. Feeling cross with myself at the single glass I had last night but at least it was moderate drinking with the stop button very much to the fore.

    AF tonight so

5AFDs for August and 1 for the SNC please.
  • 4 AFDs for me please :)

I was interested - has anyone ever been to the docs for a liver function test? I would quite like to go but I'm afraid it might label me as an alcoholic :(

I'd avoid it until you've been alcohol free for about at least a month!
Abnormal test results can affect things like Insurance on Mortgages and Life Policies, as they show up on the reports that the companies request from your GP.
Also, what good will it do? If you know you are drinking too much and think it might be affecting your liver, then they will only tell you to stop drinking.
Sorry if I sound negative, I work in the industry.......and I drink too much!!! I would never voluntarily have ANY tests!!!
