Sounds as if you had a similar July to us! I am just looking forward to slowing down and having some event and alcohol free weekends!0 -

Morning all :j
Thank goodness it' s August, July was far too busy and expensive both financially and in the amount of alcohol consumed
So today is another fresh start, I would really like to be AF until we go away in a couple of weeks...so going to take it a day at a time I have one birthday (mine) to contend with, will see how I decide to tackle that when we get there!
Cuppa Tea hope you are OK my dear am thinking of you and sending hugs if you need them.
Shaggy Thanks so much for scoring, it is really appreciated :T
Hope everyone else is doing OK

Morning
I had some really, really, really bad news yesterday; my eldest sister has breast cancerNot long after finding out my OH suggested that he went to get me some wine but I refused - as I realised that there wasn't enough alcohol in the world to numb the pain. The cancer was hopefully caught early so hopefully the prognosis is good....
So 1 more AFD for me and a brand new month to try and notch up lots and lots of AFDs. I can't let this news increase my drinking. I'm so glad you guys are here....
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
